Walk of Giants - Weekly Card Design Competition
This week's card design competition is now live and the theme this week is Walk of Giants. The goal this week is to design a minion which has their base cost, attack, and health to total 20 or more and you may not have more than 3 lines of card text - Giants are simple creatures. Additionally, your card does not need to be a "Giant" in name, only in spirit!
So, what are you waiting for? Go design yourself a card to enter this week's competition! Winners get bragging rights and a fancy avatar border. If you're looking to discuss this week's entries, head on over to the discussion thread.

Blizzard's Overwatch - Beta Starts October 27th
In non-Hearthstone news, earlier this week Blizzard announced the official start of the Overwatch Beta - October 27th.
With that announcement also came a live gameplay stream featuring Ellohime and HayliNic who were invited over to Blizzard HQ to play Overwatch with the developers. We've got a full recap of the stream over at our sister site OverPwn.
Also, earlier today there was a brief mention on the official site that Overwatch would be coming out on consoles in addition to PC/Mac.
I hate teh fan creations on the front page.
Lorewalker Cho and paper airplanes would get confusing or a great idea for a mill deck.
I really like that there are some store products for HS.
Although, and some people will not like me saying this but I got to be honest. All those HS things looks like very poor quality. Resembles Happy Meal McDonald Toys in quality.
All the other products from the other games looks superb though. Wouldn't mind a pair of Zergling Slippers.
a very bad card (for a lot of reasons), there were much better spells...sadly people tend to vote for power fantasies instead of cards that could see print.
I bought the virtual ticket and thought maybe they got some nice gear this year..
Nope, I was wrong, most of this stuff is really meh. :/
WOW! Cosplayers, get in here!
That diablo grill apron
Dat beer opener :D
I'm curious to see exactly how they'll differentiate overwatch from the other games. It looks like it's got a heroes of the storm aesthetic going, so i don't really know.
I think Overwatch is going after the Team Fortress 2 crowd whereas HotS is going after the League of Legend crowd.
How would "Level Up!" work on a minion like say Molten Giant?
heh, Paper Airplane, that's a good one.
Love the idea of Paper plane plus that hat is lookin goood
Paper airplane, soooo hilarious; now I want neutral spells.
Take the $ amount and divide by the $/£ rate on http://www.oanda.com/
the EU store display the amount in euros....if you are going to order from the US, just use goolge (put the amount in the search and it will do the exchange for you)
There is some nice gear stuff in the shop, but as a german you have to pay a lot of extra tax when you buy there, making the cost of this stuff so horrible expensive. As long as there is no way for germans / EU to buy without paying this tax I won't buy any of this gear.
Are you talking about VAT? Doesn't that apply to purchases in Germany also?
Yes, and there are also a lot of shipping costs. So if you buy something for 20 USD you almost pay the double price in Euro and that's unacceptable for me (my opinion!) when I have to pay more for the shipping+tax than the product costs.
all the BlizzCon gear that im never gonna have, it looks so good doe
