Hearthstone Coming to Japan
It has been announced that Hearthstone is being officially localized into Japanese! Japan's default Hearthstone region will be Asia, alongside Taiwan and Korea. It should also be mentioned there is a free card pack available, all you need to do is enter you Battle.Net email address and captcha on the pre-registration form.
We aren't sure if this free card pack will apply to all regions, or just Asia.

Deck Spotlight: Budget Legend Face Hunter
In today's deck spotlight we're looking at a Face Hunter deck from Krups. You're likely familiar with Face Hunter as it has been one of the more popular aggro decks on the ladder and it's proven to give you quick wins. Krups has taken SMOrc up to legend and has shared his slightly modified face list to help you out.
The deck costs 1200 dust to craft. You can find the deck below to start building it right away, or you can head on over to the full guide to learn more about this deck.

No offense intended
A lot of people cheering about free packs, but I think the promo only apply to new accounts :)
Popular decks will include:
Handrock
Zoorock
and last but not least. . .
Demonrock
Thank you. I'll see myself out.
How to get the Free Packs? Is it available all server?
RIP U.S. Hearthstone Champions. Make way for Japan to curb stomp us like they always do. Kappa
«Challenging a friend to a friendly duel anywhere is easy...» especially on different servers (changing the region isnt that much trouble, more that i dont have a collection to play with my american/asian friends)
And why do we get a japanese version before we get more deckslots...talking about quality of life features which will only be used by a small part of the community...
Dont misunderstand me, wider language support is great, but imo i think there are more important matters with this game (such as 1 class beeing garbage for nearly 2 years, weapon class without usable weapons, ect..)
PS: Do u really have to advertise SMorc now? Ladder has finally been cleared more or less of Face Hunters, so dont try to revive it (although it never dies) ;P
The idea that at Japanese language support comes at the expense of balance changes and deck slots is so absurd I can't believe I'm typing this response.
Well, i only answer because i must admit that one could interpret my statetment like this even though its a wrong interpretation - however, i wanted to criticize that a game with 20billion revenue monthly is still trying to get bigger while ignoring so much potential ingame. The game feels the same as it did in beta besides meta changes (+ tavern brawl and new cards), so the developement is going way to slow compared to the generated revenue (and, in my opinion, in a wrong direction).
Lol love that "Heartha-stonaaaa"
Yay, finally a japanese Version, this is awesome.
Missing Leeroy Jenkins and Snake Trap, and those are important pieces in Face Hunter decks nowadays due to the meta.
Not necessarily. I don't think I've ever seen a Face Hunter run Snakes, it's almost always either explosive or freezing. Leeroy isn't used nearly enough in Face Hunter to warrant it as part of the deck, like Wolfrider or the Bow for example.
No, no. The ones who run Freezing are the "Hybrid Hunters", they look like Face Hunters but aren't. Face Hunter is meant to deal damage as hell, while Hybrid tries to "Deal damage faster", so they use Freezing to slow down the opponent, and Face uses the Snakes to deal more damage per turn.
