Well, this meta came up to be one of the "shortest" ever, within Warsong Nerf and LOE adventure.

Warlock brawl. I liked this one, the reward for: X archetypes are really neat

what a lame tavern brawl. Blizzard should just get rid of this mode for something else. Like, maybe, the cooperative multiplayer we have been begging for?

I personally dislike brawls that make you end up playing against only two or three decks that are vastly superior than most alternatives. I like to play against all classes and deck builds. Of course brawls pretty much tend to favor a few select classes or deck builds, but when it's to this extent, it's just... not fun for me. The idea sounded good on paper, but I believe that the execution is a bit lackluster.

Warlock + Taunts + Handlocking + Controlling the field + Deliberately not attacking them to get minions = win.

At first I was like ''Hey, they didn't recycle an already existing Brawl!'', but when i played a couple of matches I was like:

''Thanks for this Handlock Brawl Blizzard, so much variety and fun... And wow you can't get a minion with a cost of over 3 Mana...''

BRILLIANT.

It's more of a UI problem than a coding problem. They've got a lot of different screen sizes to think about and whether it will be scrolling, paginated, just cram more deck slots into the same view, etc. That means coding all the different options and then performing lots of user testing and deciding what is the most consistent and user friendly method, then refine your model, re-code, perform more testing. It may seem like overkill for such a simple feature but remember how many millions of people use their software.

Since I don't have the cards for freeze-mage or handlock, I was doing pretty good with a specialized otk druid. This brawl requires alot more thinking and restraint, which is pretty tiring. But hey! No hunters here, boys.

There's the hidden meta of Face Hunters though. They ignore the underdog rule and SMOrc.

Another week, another totally boring and uninteresting Tavern brawl... At first it sounded like it might be fun, but with all the hidden restrictions (see below), it's actually really annoying and boring. Everything out there is Warlock and the occasional Freeze Mage... It's neither strategy based, nor RNG, and worst of all - does not bring anything new or fun... We can play/face Handlock and Freeze Mage and Control Warrior all the time, so thanks Blizzard for giving us more of the same old, boring, non-changing meta... Like it wasn't enough on ladder. Blizzard innovation skills/out of the box thinking = 0. 

Things you should know:

• You will only get minions that cost  2 or 3 Mana Crystals.
• Armor counts as Health.
• You have to be under 4 or less health then your opponent to get the random minion.

Threw together a basic Warlock zoo deck. Lost first game to a Freeze Mage. Promptly dominated my next game. Overall, I find this brawl to be one of the more boring ones, especially since you only get 2-3 mana cost minions if you are losing. It would be more exciting if the entire pool of minions was possible. I got my free pack so I probably won't bother playing this one any more. So far, the only brawl where you have to make your own deck that I've really enjoyed was the one where you started with 10 mana. 

Freeze mage is easily the best in this brawl. 

I found this brawl pretty fun. Made a taunt druid to be able to keep attacking the enemy but protect myself from their extra minions and it worked quite well. Probably not optimal but I think it's more fun to experiment than netdeck during brawls. :)

Some ideas for future brawls.

Pauper Brawl - Basic cards and commons only.

Complete Chaos - You can have cards from any class in your deck.

It's All Ogre Now! - premade decks for each class with random spells and all available ogres + ogre warmaul.

Naxxramas vs Blackrock Mountain - play as a random boss from one adventure against a random boss from the second adventure

Spellslingers - Whenever you play a minion you get a random spell of the same cost to your hand

Complete Chaos would be incredible except for the inevitable crazy OTK combos.

Spellslinger sounds amazing to build a mill deck for!
