Well, with Balance patches they usually do the teaser beforehand, an image for every game mode seeing changes, with the card art for each buffed or nerfed card on it, in green or red outline respectively. THAT was supposed to go out today and what we expected, with the likely patch day then being Thursday.
Unfortunately there seems to have been some kind of mishap behind the scenes at Blizz, cause at the usual time for news we only got a message that things were delayed from one of the CMs on twitter.
And that's all we have seen so far with business/working hours at Blizzard only being another 40 min or so from right now. If they intend to get the teaser out it probably needs to happen very soon and if not, it is likely moved to tomorrow, or even later depending on what exactly was going wrong for Blizz behind the scenes.
In before they change the warlock location to 2 charges and think that'll balance it. Card would still be extremely good at draw 1 with 2 charges, because discarding cards is an UPSIDE.
Not just discarding cards, but CHOOSING the card to be discarded. It kinda goes against the whole shtick of discard. Previously it was "lowest / highest cost card" which you still had to be mindful of just what was in your hand you could toss a Soulfire instead of some other 1 cost card, for example.
Would be a cool mechanic for the Auctioneers to work with Tradeable cards now that is a Evergreen keyword. But that's just an example of change the effect to another effect, no mather the effect. "Your Spells have Tradeable"
Or I don't know, something that solves the issue with the card without make it completle usless for every other deck, like they did with Grey Sage Parrot could be something like "After you cast a spell draw a minion" or wherever.
I just don't want to wake up an see that Auctioneer now is an 8-Mana 4/4 that says "After you cast your first spell each turn, draw a card" and make the card basically umplayable in any deck.
Dude, are you okay? Huge difference between 6 mana auctioneer and 8 mana auctioneer. A lot of games are already decided by turn 7. You cannot spend turn 8 drawing cards.
My prediction is that Auctioneer will either draw a card when you cast your first spell each turn. Another option could be drawing a card every X spells played a turn. Maybe every 2 or 3 spells. Either way, makes me wonder if the mana cost will drop too.
Sucks that other Wild or Twist decks that might use him have to suffer, but Tony Druid is a bit ridiculous.
I would like to think they realize Druid is defined by ramping and being able to mana cheat in Wild. Ergo they can't do something lazy like just upping Auctioneer's mana to 7 - that the verbiage needs to change.

The strategy is always the same.
Get a new skin out. Pump it then dump it :)

wow so early
It’s Tuesday. Where is the balance patch? Isn’t this the day they usually push patches?
Tomorrow afternoon :/

so far nothing. I am betting two weeks for a patch at this rate.
Good news everyone, the nerf will be:
Whenever you summon a Charge minion, give it +1 attack.
Good but dated joke, Warsong Commander is unnerfed and Patron warrior kicks ass, at least in Twist.

Every time you cast a spell increase the damage of all minions on board by +1
Back to winning as resspriest turn 3 that we have complained about for 3 years without any nerfs
You mean a deck that has not had a 50% win rate in months?
You mean a fun killer assholes since 2016 ?
I really hope they completly rework the card into something that is still usable, in some way or another
Even if is something like 4-Mana 4/4 - "Whenever you Trade a card, draw a card".
Instead of just a big fat nerf that makes the card completly useless, as they did with Naga Sea Witch or Sorcerer's Apprentice
This guy's over here reinventing Auctioneer Jaxon!
