- [Hearthstone] Going Down Swinging will no longer attack in a random order.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where Start of Game Effects and certain Anomalies did not work together (Prince Renathal and more).
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a visual bug where the yellow glow on Finale cards did not activate properly if the cards changed costs.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where some Finale effects did not activate if the Finale card had its cost changed (Concert Promo-Drake and Hardcore Cultist).
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where Judge Unworthy could destroy a minion that was already damaged but then given Divine Shield, instead of setting the minion’s Health to 1 and removing the Divine Shield.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where Disciple of Eonar and Cenarion Hold effects wouldn’t be spent if the Choose One played was a transforming minion.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where Ruins of Korune (generated by Runi, Time Explorer) could make a card cost 0 if it’s drawn with an invalid card (like if it’s your last card and you draw it with a fatigue card). In those situations, it will now keep its original cost.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where The Nighthold (generated by Runi, Time Explorer) could try to cast Secrets that were already active.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where Temple of Earth (generated by Runi, Time Explorer) granted an aura that would apply through stat-setting cards (like Equality).
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where Spirit Claws and Cogmaster's Wrench did not update their stats while in play.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where Pebbly Page’s Overload protection effect would not trigger if no Overload card was drawn.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a bug whereToki, Time-Tinker could give you old versions of cards that have since been updated.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a visual bug where Street Trickster was missing the Spell Damage indicator.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where Anomalies did not trigger in matches against Blizzard bots.
- [Twist] Fixed a bug where you could Renounce Darkness and turn into an illegal class (Demon Hunter or Death Knight), resulting in you also renouncing all your class cards.
- [Twist] Fixed a bug where Sir Finley Mrrgglton was too good of an explorer and was able to Discover illegal Hero Powers (Demon Hunter and Death Knight).
- [Battlegrounds] Fixed a bug causing longer turns in Quilboar games.
- [Battlegrounds] “Essence of Zerus” has been removed from the Quest Pool.
can some1 plz explain this to me...
i dont get it...
Turn 1, you will draw a 0 or 1 cost card. Turn 2, you will draw a 0, 1, or 2 cost card. Turn 3, you will draw a 0, 1, 2, or 3 cost card. Etc.
But it's based on mana, not turn, so if you Wild Growth on 3 then Turn 4, you will draw a 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 cost card since you will be at 5 mana on turn 4.
This only applies to the first card drawn, not cards you draw via draw effects. So if you cast something that draws you a card then it just draws a random card as normal.
god damn...how da hell I would now..suck a weird rules...the explanation is to0 vague. thx
It isn't vague at all? Lmao it says you can draw a card that you're able to play, that's a super simple and obvious explanation
How are your ESL lessons going?
Whoever designed the "Twist Reality" anomaly in the first place should be moved to the development of a different game, since they obviously don't play hearthstone at all.
Honestly I saw this on stream first and just thought, if I will ever get this anomaly, I will quit game right away.
NOOOOOOO! Those were like my favorite ones! Especially Twist Reality! I had only like one game with it and it basically didn't matter.
...I guess this is competitive Hearthstone rearing its ugly head again or something like that. Seriously, it's only for one week at 100% anyways. That's just... yeah, I know that especially on a site like this I'm in the minority, but... I guess I should've seen it coming with all those mostly competitive cards in the mini-set... I... can't believe it... well, at least it fits the theme of Yogg-Saron driving people crazy. Was this planned all along? Giving me hope that the game might just become a bit more fun just to take away some of that hope?
Yeah, I know, it's only those two anomalies and overall it's still quite fun. But still, what's the point of that? The competitive people will take a break anyways if it's not optional and for the casual people that just want to have some fun this is just taking away some of it. Why? This makes absolutely no sense. At least it would make more sense if they made anomalies optional. But of course in typical Blizzard/Hearthstone fashion they try to appeal to both audiences with the end result being that neither is really happy. Great...
I share your opinion!
Literally Anomaly are most of the time just boring as hell "Draw 2 card" yay
They removed 2 fun anomaly idk what is left, and they still didn't fixed Chogall, you can't have 2 anomaly as they said
Your comment doesn't make sense. If you want a casual experience, why play ranked? It's not enjoyable to have a deck built around your hero power, such as one focused on armor, and then receive a useless hero power that doesn't synergize with your cards at all. However, this doesn't significantly affect the overall fun factor. You rarely encountered those two anomalies anyway, and instead of resulting in instant concessions, these games allow people to continue playing.
I never mentioned Ranked. What do you mean? Do you mean "Constructed"?
Yeah, I can see that those two can be the most disruptive ones. But from my perspective they are also the most fun ones. I love getting any other Hero Power in Thief Rogue and having not to worry about card draw with the card reshuffle since otherwise card draw will bring you closer to fatigue which is why I generally dislike it.
It's pretty obvious to me how it should've been done: Just make it optional. And they even have that UI addition. So they just need to make it so you can turn it off there. That way I could continue to have (more) fun and the competitive people wouldn't even need to take a break.
I personally really hope they will make a permanent mode with Anomalies. That way I think I will also face more players that, like me, just want to have some fun. I always play Casual, but some people are just doing quests not even playing real decks that could win, some people go there to play super high roll but rather uninteractive decks, and some just want to test out a competitive deck without the risk of falling in rank. It's often not so great. That's why nowadays I really try to play more with friends.
But yeah, a mode with exactly those kinds of Anomalies that were banned basically would be so awesome. And for exactly the reason it's disliked by so many. I don't understand what people like so much about always playing the same boring stuff and I know that going for total RNG and tons of Discover is not something only I love. "Super" casual people like me do exist and I would really love it if there would be a mode where it would actually feel like a casual game and not just random garbage you just... concede to!
I guess... I know how those people feel. I also concede often against like "I can't even win with this deck" decks/players. It's so annoying... That is exactly the reason why it would be so good to have something like an actual separate "true casual mode". And how do you do this? Easy: Just make random Anomalies active that can screw over anything "too specific". You want to do this or that to win or for a quest? Go to normal Ranked or Casual. You want to just have some fun? Anomaly mode! I think that would be perfect.
I guess Blizzard discovered my Death Knight Warlock deck in Twists...
There was a vague-ish tweet from one of the devs that the first opportunity for Balance changes was coming after launch of 27.4. So that would be next week.
There's also already confirmed in the patch notes from 27.4 that this Twist season is basically going to continue on with the exact same sets, with the new Twist being that you can now add up to 40 cards to your deck and every card in your deck gives you 1 health. With the minimum being 30 this means you can make 30-40 card decks and have 30-40 health, depending on how many cards you add. That will change the landscape in the Meta some too, but a lot of the good decks will still be good.
Great, still no nerfs on DiscoLock for Twist and Wild.... while Twist season is ending in a week
