Forbidden fruit is looking nice. Two in gold please
Aerosoilizer seems quite the powercreep. Wasn't there a 3 Mana spell that summons two 2/2 treants? And now you get basically another 2/2 (albeit not a treant) on top. Not to mention the comparison to Razorfen Hunter. But I guess you would say it isn't since those cards never saw play or whatever. Well, I for one would rather see slight buffs like recently with the Cavern of Time.
(And of course I'm not surprized to see once again only "competitive" cards here. Where are the actual fun cards? I mean it's the Yogg-Saron mini-set. Hopefully in neutral.)
cool. Here's another way to build the "ramp, gain a million armor, play legendary card and 50 mana worth of stuff in 1 turn to win the game." deck that has been the druid meta for the past 6 years. sooooooo fun. Man, so excited to play against the 13th version of this exact same deck. And I cant wait to see blizzard do 3 different patches to fix wild after these 2 druid cards break wild for the 7th time because they felt the compulsive need to print more broken AF druid cards. Gonna be really fun when Guff deals 20 damage with 1 card or gains 40 armor.
Could be a Worgen in human form. They can be druids.
I'm not that impressed by Lasher. Green-Thumb Gardener already exists and hasn't seen a lot of play. Refreshing mana isn't nearly as good as gaining temporary mana crystals.
Forbidden Fruit just looks bad. 10 mana to deal 10 damage hasn't been good since Vanilla, and for mana gain there are more effective options. Doing both is obviously decent, but I'd rather Drum Circle. But it might see play in a very burn/OTK centric meta where investing everything into armor wins you games.
Aerosoilizer is pretty decent though for aggro.
gardener is way way worse than this. You had to hold 7+ Mana spell in hand to even get you more mana, this eventually gets upgraded even in your deck and then gains you 2 mana always. I think it will see play.
More broken mana cheat bs... Why am I not surprised.
so true, that was first what i've thought about
Aerosoilizer is a big buff to treant package, might also make cards like Conservator Nymph and Ancient of Growth viable
Contaminated Lasher looks scary, I really wish they could retire these crazy mana cheats already
The Forbidden Fruit art bothers me. Druid card, so you expect druids. But that's a clearly human hand, and humans can't be druids. At best that is a Blood Elf hand, but Belves can't be druids either.
Muh immersion :p
Tbf Hearthstone works on an alternate timeline to WoW, hence all kinds of wacky race/class combinations.
I think is a reference to the Earthen and the Curse of Flesh, in a simile of Adan and Eva;
Cause most minions are Earthen this set (on every class) and the set itself is oriented before the creation of "the classes"
Like the only Tauren on the set is a Minotaur, which was the creature in the initial development of Warcraft III, and was eventually replaced with the Taurens. And the art in game looks like a Yaungol (specially in the signature art), which are confirmed to be primitive versions of the Tauren.
Kul tiran humans can be druids though :( gotta love allied races
Worgen can be Druids in WoW, and they have a human form.
The tentacle might be a corrupted druid offering the apple.
Muh immersion 😂😂
Embrace of Nature or perhaps Disciple of Eonar plus Forbidden Fruit, with maybe a dash of Wildheart Guff in Wild should lead to some fun times.
in wild you also have Cenarion Hold
Oh look more Tony Druid support :) protection against dirty rat and mutanus. So hyped for this.
(I wanna uninstall already)
