Loot Crate September Contains Hearthstone Loot
If you're looking for potential Hearthstone collectibles, Loot Crate announced today on Twitter that the September crate's theme is "Summon" and part of the crate will contain Hearthstone item(s). There's 23 days left to order your September crate, and you can do so here.
If you are not going to Prague, don't block the tickets.
Let's be honest, as soon as I saw you could only obtain the card back there, I immediately tried to get a ticket despite not going. But looking deeper on the website you can read this:
"Everyone who attends the event will receive unique digital rewards! You will be prompted to provide your Battle.net e-mail address when you register for a ticket (details at the end). Your attendance will be verified once you’re inside the O2 Arena for the event, and the below rewards will later be unlocked for your Battle.net account."
Another card back out of reach :/ the completist inside me hates it.
Was hoping you could earn the cardback by attending the stream aswell :/ I guess there will be no cardback for me then... :(
Cool!
Thanks for TGT Card Pack Opening summary.
I like stats.
Very cool stats, Seems I was very lucky to pull Justicar Trueheart, Varian Wrynn and Rhonin from my 50 pre order packs!
the numbers geek in me approves this post, even though it sadly confirms that my pack luck sucks :(
Waaaaay less....
You're guaranteed to get 40 dust per pack (I call them the Misery packs)
There is roughly a 20% chance that a pack IS a Misery pack
To get 50 Misery packs, that's a 1 in 88 decillion chance.
So unlikely.
Although if you're referring to dust after adding cards to your collection ... well you did get more cards than him, right?
Really? Convert is on the top10 rarest Rare cards list? I got a bunch of them plus two goldens of them as well...
Nice mine is not as good as that but here is my best pack
Well then, I half thought Pax Prime would have something, but looks like I'm out cold this time. Looks like the core and I are not meant to be together! ;w;
I CAN NOT HAVE THE CARD BACK. THANKS BLIZZARD.
that card back looks amazing.
but i will not have it, and im still fine i guess ;)
It's strange to see that Eyedis Darkbane is the least commonly opened legendary. I have seen it all of the time on ladder in priest decks. I can only assume that it has been crafted everyone who mains priest.
Seeing the 40% neutral and 6.67% for each class is the first distribution that doesn't seem arbitrary (like ~71.5%/23%/4.5%/1%)!
Is there anywhere that lists the same data but dividing all the cards into class, rarity AND golden? I wonder if that will make it more clear exactly how the computer generates pack results.
How to find this 40% neutral number:
1) Take the ratios of neutral cards per rarity
2) Multiply each number by the rarity distribution
3) Sum up these 4 results
4) Congratulations, you end up at 40%!
The game basicly doesn't check for neutral vs class cards.
Oh and the 'arbitrary' numbers actually are pretty close to a 20% upgrade rate.
As in: A common has a 20% chance to be a Rare (or better), that Rare then also has 20% to be Epic or better and so on. The only reason that Common isn't 80% is because of the guaranteed Rare in your pack if the first 4 were Commons.
WTB person to check me in for the event and get me that perfect looking card back.
Really Blizz?
I guess it's no different to going to Blizzcon and getting the digital rewards
