What’s with this bullshit teaser? Why don’t they just say what the nerfs are? They’re clearly already decided or Blizzard wouldn’t be able to patch this week.
The centuries old tradition of the announcement of the announcement.
1- They decide the cards that they want to change, but they might still be finalizing on the specific details: like stats change, effects change, etc.
2- They are still testing those changes internally, and so they might want to change those specific details.
They get twitter algorithm buff twice for the price of one announcement. I enjoy the speculation period personally.
They tease the cards that are going to change. Then they read the comments on Hearthpwn and choose the most interesting options for changes.
Took them long enough to nerf Lady S'Theno, most slippery thing that managed to dodge so many nerfs.
It's the devs that are out of their game.
No wild bans?
*sigh*
What card in wild do you want banned? Doesn't seem like there's anything that needs to be removed currently.
Swordfish, Neptulon, Funnelcake, Dew Process, Objection!
Swordfish is a stretch.
3 mana deal 12 damage x2 is a stretch? found the pirate rogue player
"Swordfish, Neptulon, Funnelcake, Dew Process, Objection!"
I actually agree on those, surprisingly even Objection!. Secret mage has so much support and that single card is just a SUPER "feels bad" card to play into. At least Explosive Runes does something similar but doesn't negate an entire minion, its deathrattle, etc. It's just a rotten card.
Swordfish is what enables pirate rogue. It's a weapon that can easily do 40-50% face damage (depending on if buffed) if it just hits face. If not, it's 4-5 attack easily controls the board for 3 turns since it's a deck that wants to win during the mid-game or earlier.
I wonder what the change is to Clergy. Maybe just a wild ban?
Seems like battlegrounds always binds a lot of human resources.
If viewer counts on Twitch and Youtube (which seem to favor Battlegrounds) are any kind of indication of which game modes are popular, I'd say those resources are more than deserved
How is Hope of Quel'thalas deserving of a nerf, or am I out of the constructed loop? Did instrument tech make it too good or something?
Devs have always despised Hunter, just like Warrior. Getting more and more tired of these people.
Hunter is pretty strong, though I agree that nerfing an older card that saw absolutely 0 play until very recently is very strange. Surely there must be better candidates.
