Why it not a silver hand totem
Dual Class cards. So they take Silver Hand Recruits from Paladin, and Totems from Shaman, and mash them together for something neither class usually has access to, but can make use of.
I'd say, mainly cuz of expansion theme.
I agree, Wooden Silver Hand Recruit (types: totem)
I wonder how this will factor into Even Totem Shaman in Wild...
I doubt it sees any play. The deck is already pretty refined and having a non totem on board is actually a nuisance.
EDIT: BUT, if this is coined on turn 1, it will be super hard to clear and will generate massive value and tempo. I will have to try it
Cant wait for Silver Hand Shaman to be a thing in wild with this and Silver Hand Regent
Oh look, they learned their lesson from caravans.
Super boring.
This seems tailor-made for Totem Shaman. Being both a Totem and summoning more bodies to empower with Bloodlust.
Also it's a Totem which can be drawn off The Purator, which is cute.
Hard pass.
Why is recruit bolded?
Presumably this card was recreated using HearthCards, which auto-bolds keywords like Recruit, the keyword from Kobolds & Catacombs.
Official versions of the card do not have that bolding.
Sharp as always. DatMageDoe has the correct answer. Unfortunately Blizzard announced early in the evening that the official Library for cards won't be updated on time for reveals, so we are lacking official art for some 5 cards revealed tonight.
It should be fixed shortly after official art becomes available, which according to Blizzard is before the end of the day (but that's probably judged by their local timezone, which means its still significant time away).
Yep, this is the reason. Once we get the official art, it won't be bolded anymore. 😉
