Could be a good tool to help blood DK stabilize against aggro decks. Situationally better than Gnome Muncher.
Absolutely nuts with DK handbuff cards such as Blood Tap and Harmonic Metal. Like to the point where you could potentially full heal, full clear and win the game on the spot after playing it, assuming your opponent is board based. Very interesting.
card is damn good on paper...but i dont think it will see any play or fit a type of deck.
At its best, it is a six mana, 3 for 1, heal 9. That's not bad at all. Not too many cards can boast that kind of power. Despite the higher cost, this will definitely see play, especially with the dual tribal tag.
I think this is gonna be a meta card. This heals you for nearly 1/3 of your hp each whack, and it absolutely devistates aggro since it has rush.
From a hunter's perspective: does a 3-damage cleave on turn 6 do enough? Not against Big Demon DH, or Chad Warlock. But against spammy decks like Totem Shaman, Spooky Mage, Green DK... more cleave more better. It's slow, but if you can buff it, and revive it, the impact can be significant.
One nice thing about it is the Undead tag, which means it's more reliable to buff in hand with Party Animal, and counts toward The One-Amalgam Band, so I'll try it in my menagerie deck. There are less-likely combos, with Crazed Alchemist, or Drakkari Enchanter.
It doesn't need to be infused, like Stonebound Gargon, so top-decking it, or discovering it from Selective Breeder in the late game, it's not crippled.
It's a very good dredge from Harpoon Gun to play on turn 4. Maybe this makes it into a mid-range beast deck along with Shadehounds and Stranglethorn Heart.
Might be good for handbuff DK, or a Hunter looking to survive until Stranglethorn Heart.
I love this card. Great design.
This card can help slower Control Hunters a lot. After all, it‘s a 3 damage pseudo-AoE that heals for 9, something which is very hard to come by in Hunter. Plus Hunter can easily buff it with cards like Doggie Biscuit or Castle Kennels. The catch though is that slower Hunters really want to play Big Beasts, and I don’t think this is what they want to pull over, say, King Krush.
basically is zombeast Vicious Scalehide + Cave Hydra with same mana but 1 less hp and no need cost hero power to craft
Zilliax powercreep
Not sure why you're getting downvoted. This is way better than Zilliax. The extra 6 lifesteal more than makes up for the lack of taunt.
Zilliax has one keyword that you might have missed the sole reason it is still playable in wild: Magnetic
ok card for blood dk
