Yep. I really couldn't stand either deck, but it is complete bullshit for them to nerf a lower cost card, that kills the common use of multiple legendary cards.
Should have stayed in the salt thread if you are going to finish your post with:
"people would actually have to think when building a deck, instead of netdecking and doing the same boring strategy over and over "
Obviously, your super awesome original deck keeps getting stomped on Ladder by refined decks using one of the cards you mentioned.
But, just to play along ... no, I don't really care for your convoluted idea of banning cards, but I wouldn't mind seeing the ability to ban one class on ladder each month. It would prevent the issue of having 73% of games played so far this season against a single class.
Can also verify that after dusting Regenerate and Half-Time Scavengers, that mine also finally synced. Had tried all other suggestions to that point, and nothing had worked. Not sure if you need to dust both cards, or just one as I just scrapped them all since they are cheap enough to replace.
If it really matters ... my son texted me right as I played the combo. Yes, I fucked up. I was kinda looking for some reasoning behind why the card order would matter (outside of playing Reckless first for the cost reduction). Obviously, deathrattles trigger in the order they are played.
What do you mean if it really matters ? It's a matter of logic.. why would the abominations proc after the coffin if they are played before, it wouldn't make sense.
The "if it really matters" part was directed at the handful of asshats that couldn't just answer the question without an insult. It was to explain why I played the cards out of order.
Honestly, this was the first time I have messed the order up, and I didn't realize that deathrattles proc in the order they are played.
Gotta be honest. I am not seeing how this deck got you to legend. I play a similar Quest Druid but rely more on taunts / Cube / Hadronox for the win condition. This deck has the heavy hitters that my taunt based version doesn't, but survivability is just non-existent in this deck.
Running into two issues with this deck.
1. Can't survive against aggro. Rogue, Paladin, Mage, Warlock ... all are able to tear through armor and defenses too quick.
2. Single Maly has a hard time putting down enough damage against other armor classes. The best case scenario is only 30 dmg, so having a hard time against other druids, warriors, and even Big Spell mages.
Fair enough. Control mage is 1 of the best anti aggro decks. The heavy push of otk decks is gonna kill it's win rates though.
I agree. It's the big reason why we need Dirty Rat to be moved to Classic set. There really should not be an "auto loss" situation in a game like HS. Unfavored matchup ... thats fine. Even a REALLY unfavored matchup is fine. But when it is essentially IMPOSSIBLE for deck to beat another, that is bad design.
I did look at some of the new BSM deck lists, and it looks like people are trying to add some threat to it, so maybe those will at least have some chance, but those threats had to have taken the place of something, and if that was any of the AOE spells, then it is just going to weaken the one thing the deck did extremely well.
Bullshit. I've seen far less op things get nerfed in the past. I don't get people making excuses for this deck.
Your solution is play control mage and pray for t5 dragons fury when you're already on 15hp. You better pray you also have arcane tyrants by then or t6 blizzard into flamestrike or you're still going to lose.
Hard counter control decks should have high win rates vs this crap but they don't. It's at best 50%. There is no hard counter that isn't terrible against everything else.
If you know of a deck that counters it please share it. I don't think it exists.
OK. Even IF zoolock draws the stone cold nuts opener, it's not like I am just sitting there waiting for T5 to drop fury. I probably have Raven Familiar , Stonehill Defender, or Tar Creeper in there somewhere. I still have hero power to take out a voodoo doctor, ect.
But, Even if they do get me busted down to 15 HP ... by T5 and beyond, I should have complete control. That's probably about as far as they are going to get. Blizzards, Flamestrikes, Meteor's, .... all are boardwipes from that point on. Toss in an Artificer, and there is 6 or 7 armor for you. And once Jania gets her lazy ass out of the deck .. its over. Drop Baron, to refill health ... assuming they havent conceded already.
And all this is with old BSM ... i honestly havent even looked at the new lists. I don't have the game here at work to look, but I can guarantee you my win rate against zoo is a hell of a lot higher than 50%. I would guess it is closer to 75% or better.
The card by itself is not a problem at All. Barnes Priester by itself is Just a busted deck. When they have Barnes at turn 4 It,s as good as over. Strong cards should exist offcorse, but a deck that can beat u with 1 or 2 cards used should,nt exist.
A bit sad to have just crafted kingsbane. But I get 80 dust back I guess :(
The meta needed shaking up. Not sure that no hunter related nerf should have been included.
Druid nerfs seem to be overkill considering ultimate infestation is rotating. Kind of strikes at class identity.
I'm happy with the nerfs, these nerfs are healthy for the game, but not healthy for my budget.
Lol I got this from Dragon Roar once but never got to use it because the egglock conceded. I was super bummed because I was really looking forward to playing double Emeris into 2x 48/48 Deathwings with boomship
