Hello guys, I think this is a different post about how expensive is this game (especially with all the corona going around).

My main point is that I am extremely sad that I can't follow the game anymore because of how expensive it is. I love the game, I love the lore and although I have critical mind around cards and things going on, I never let that game cause I love it. I decided to stop playing it only because of how big is the cost. Me myself I've put a lot of money the past years and now that things got difficut I realised that if you want to follow that game I have to pay. And honestly, as sad I am, i cant afford it anymore and you can't really have fun If yoi don't pay. If you can make one deck and hit legend, then cool you can do it, but it's not what it's only should be about.

Please don't troll this post or write "bye bye we won't miss you" cause my purpose isn't a rant post. Its just to express my sadness of how this game made me stop although I love it.

I feel so nice about all the changes! For me this is another step forward!! Wp hearthstone team!!!

Guys I don't know if i'm lucky or if the numbers are just fine cause now i'm extremelly HYPED! From 240 packs which are:

-133 from the 2 preorders plus the 3 from the tavern brawls

-107 from my own gold

I got the FULL EXPANSION! Ofc we count also the free quest, the 3 leges from the preorders and disenchant for dust ONLY the golden cards (except golden leges). 

First time i have the full expansion day one and i'm suuuuper hyped cause the previous 2 expansions were a bit of a bummer! Good luck to everybody!

 why everybody say about big priest? is it really this difficult to understand that this would be totally garbage in big priest? FINALLY Blizzard realised that they have to do changes frequently to the game and not be afraid!!! I think the whole community loves that they take action and not sit back and put in replay what they say all these years!!! GOOD JOB BLIZZARD!!!

I think the title says pretty much everything, now elysianna will be available to Odd warrior and really i think the deck became reeeeally better just with the inclusion of this card!

No. And if they continue with this new approach that they show now, the game has a lot of years to come.

I feel the same as you. I think Blizzard is greedy and they are not catering to their player base, especially during these tough times where many of us have lost their jobs.

I still play, I'm still buying the cards because it's my hobby. But I've started to play Legends of Runeterra. Give it a go mate if you can't afford Hearthstone anymore. It's as good, to be honest and much cheaper, got most cards and hardly spent a penny.

 OP, sorry to hear you're going through a tough time. Hopefully things will improve and you can start playing the game again. You clearly enjoy HS which is great - it seems that people who actually like the game are a small minority on this dumb ass forum full of whiners. 

Hearthstone is crazy expensive. If my financial situation changed for the worse I would also stop playing immediately. There are way more important things in life to focus on especially when times are tough. I have very limited time to play so I make sure I have as many of the cards I need to play any deck I like so I can enjoy the game when I do get to play it. If I weren't able to play this way I wouldn't play at all. Grinding hours a day just to build one deck and carefully craft the legendary or epics I need has zero appeal to me. That's what playing MtG was like for me as a teen - I never had the money to keep up so I was always playing some makeshift crappy deck and trading my way to get the cards I wanted only to be flattened when a new set came out and I'd have to find a new deck to play. Basically starting all over again. 

So yeah man, I get you. Hope things improve for you soon.

I love that month before a new expansion/year where everyone starts complaining about the game and menacing Blizzard (as if they cared) that they're going to leave the game.

Hearthstone is a free to play game, and the only way they can make money off of it is by giving players reasons to buy packs with real money. If you give out packs too easily players will not spend any money on the game anymore and it will die off very quickly because it's not profitable. If you give players all cards for a certain period of time then people just won't play until that last period where they have every card, it's the same thing.

The popularity of battlegrounds is also definitely not because it's free. Streamers that prefer to play it really don't care about the cost of the game, they have so much dust and gold piled up they can get every card from every set fairly consistently anyway. The reason they play it is because it's different and fun without them actually having to switch games and thus losing a large part of their audience.

I think the devs have already done a very fair amount of things to make hearthstone more affordable: Better preorder deals, bundles where you can get a lot of packs for cheap, the first 10 packs legendary rule, more events that hand out rewards and of course more login rewards (all five galakronds for free for EVERYONE for example). I don't see the need for any change in economy.

Invoke should be a mechanic of its own and not fall under the battlecry category imo.

Why shouldn't it be more of a grind as f2p? If it was easy and everyone did it then there wouldn't be a game. 

You realise this game costs money yeah? To develop, maintain etc, they have to make money. 

Be glad that there's an awful lot you can do as f2p, there are plenty of budget decks that do a very good job and multiple content creators make play lists specifically for these decks. 

Yes, if you want all the best cards and multiple, competitive decks you'll need to put some money in (there are those who manage not to but I'd think they're more the exception rather than the rule) and my question to all free players on Amy game is 'why shouldn't you have to?' 

No issue with people being f2p on things but at least be grateful man. Other people keep these things going for you and you expect to have the same access as them? 

Adventures and Wild Card Packs are being added, with the option to purchase Wild Card Packs using gold.
