    That, I actually agree with. They didn't nerf the card, they just nerfed the turn 1 with this card. Card is getting even more oppressive, they will revert the nerf or make another nerf.

    At least they can beat aggro now. 3 mana Tidal Surge + Tidal Wave is auto win.

    the shaman buffs are so lackluster a xD is the only thing fitting...

    unbound should have been made into a 2 mana 2/3 same effect
    the overload cards are mainly 3 mana.. there isnt even a 4 mana overload card for follow up curve play neither 2 mana drops with overload.. xD

    tidel wave is a horrible card, maybe it could fit into a control shaman archetype in the future but sure as hell useless still right now.
    they should have added in lava shock to the core set instead

    and the elemental... feels a little less bad about not getting the effect because of bad draw i guess... who plays 5/6 for 5 tho? still horrible till we get draw and when we do then this might become op but at current moment pointless change

    shaman is the only class that has had its hero power nerfed, not once but twice... first healing totem not healing face and now death to the best totem we had with spell damage in trade for a useless buff totem... if we atleast got something good...


    my personal take to the fire totem is I think it should be a mini ragnaros not being able to attack directly but doing its damage at the end of the turn to a random target, basically making it good with scaling it... that would be fun and fit the idea of fire instead of being a silverhand recruite without any of the synergy cards

     I agree that stealing from dragon's is kind of unthematic, giving shaman card draw isn't the answer either. Lack of card draw is part of shamans identity, you have discover mechanics but far sight was removed for a reason. What a class can't do is just as important as what it can do and shaman along with priest shouldn't have card draw. Rogues, druids, paladins and mages excel in card draw.

     It's not really 9 cards, outside of maybe rogue classes only have so much draw. Shaman has neutral draw like loot horder and bloodmage thalnos. But yes card draw isn't that strong (compared to other abilities you get with the class), shaman's identity weakness is lack of card draw balanced. You get mana ramp with overload and direct damage, shaman definitely shouldn't have any class card draw.
