Dinomaniak posted a message on What to do with all the Rope Warriors?Posted in: WarriorI met one of these rope fellows today. I was running a rush paladin deck ( not any secrets in it though ). The opponent warrior has burnt the rope on each and every one of his turns, moving quickly at the start of the turn, then ending on a long rope.
After the first three turns, I decided it's time for push-ups. Did 90 push-ups, about 130 abs, about 200 flutter kicks, ate two apples, drank a large glass of water, fixed the bed, broomed the floor, fed the cat, and got some work done. When I had lethal, I left him at 1 hp and waited my entire turn as well with lethal on board. When my rope was nearly gone, he conceeded.
I sincerely enjoyed it and got some chores done. Awesome.

ForecastWeatherMan posted a message on Legendary Tier Crafting GuidePosted in: Card DiscussionI have 4000 dust atm and I'm stuck between completing a freeze mage deck and a control priest one.
However, with the new expansion being announced. I think that I should wait a bit more to see if there will be new meta decks that favor other legenderies and epics so maybe I should save my dusts. Am I right about this and what do you guys think about waiting for new expansion to craft big guys?
Freeze mage will always be a good deck. There has never been a time when it was truly terrible. Control priest is good, and you can make it relatively cheaply and provided you can draw your board clears vs aggro you can do well. That also depends on whether you mean literal control priest or Dragon priest, because dragon priest is the more expensive one. I dont think there will be any cards that will benefit these decks in particular. If i had to be specific about these decks you are considering, the "your hero can only take 1 damage at a time" mage minion, and the Priest 6 mana "shuffle an enemy card into your deck". I believe they are worth trying out in both freeze mage and control priest.tl:dr, both decks are great to craft, never truly out of meta/weak, have fun cards to experiment with from the new expansion. Happy playing! -

Flash_G posted a message on Legendary Tier Crafting GuidePosted in: Card DiscussionYsera is a dead card Vs aggro. If you manage to make it to turn 9 your most likely want to play something that helps you survive that turn since your most likely dead either the next turn or the turn after. If you can consistantly make it to turn 9 vs most aggro putting yourself up to 15 is a really nice move especially if you were down to really low. But really, even then if your SUPER behind Alexstrazsa won't guarantee the win, but it can save your ass. My preferred use for her is nuke face.
Ysera is great in dragon/control priest as a win condition but it only improves win rate vs control and has the added bonus of being a dragon and triggering dragon stuff.Since you don't have Chillmaw either i don't think u can have a dragon deck that is Big Game Hunter proof since you'll want a bunch of big scary dragons(Nefarianor example.
Alexstrazsa i think is your best bet. plus she can fit in a plethora of other decks. i have her in my freeze/giant, dragon warrior, and had her in my handlock as well.

SomeHogFan posted a message on how to beat Freeze MagePosted in: PaladinWith all of that healing, it makes it difficult for the Mage to kill you with just Alexstrasza alone, so they will need to use Antonidas effectively to burst through your heals. Emperor, Alex, and Antonidas are the only threats (unless they are playing Malygos as well, but that's rare) you will have to worry about.
Because Mid/Control Paladin just plays minions to the board and waits a turn before attacking, Freeze Mage can usually sit back and just Freeze/Clear the board until they draw their threats with plenty of time with Ice blocks and stalls to just beat you down.
Basically: You can have all the healing in the world, but if you can't proc the block or set them to 1 hp in fatigue you're never going to win. Doomsayers are going to wreck your board and your progress.
Best bet is just to apply as much pressure as possible, playing sticky minions like SMB and Shredder, hoping to hit Dr. Boom into Tirion because boom bots and Ashbringer can do work. Loatheb is a good tech card against Freeze Mage, but if it isn't a good fit for your deck then it won't help as much against other matchups.
That's pretty much it, its a hard match up for you, just like Control Warriors are hard for Freeze Mages. Good luck.

If I'm not mistaken that's a 80% winrate! And I don't even need to present proof, users there are typically dumb enough to upvote something like this, even though the deck is a copy paste of every midrange paladin we see everyday. I'm a genius!!!"

So I added him casually, just to watch him from time to time and not even asking for coaching. So he's messaged me that he only accepts his "customers". I kthxbye'd him. It sounds very pathetic since there's tons of awesome guys on Twitch to watch and a not even known clown asking for cents for this. lol
My advice is even if an ordinary player hopes for a couple of cents, they should at least have a decent PR mentality in the end. Otherwise it looks like scam and sounds mad.
Not even surprised he plays secretard as i see in the comments lol

Well a while ago I made a challenge by myself, I pick a class every season and I try to make it a golden one. It feels good to force myself to learn a specific class in deep.
So I wonder which classes you own as golden, and here is a silly poll. Enjoy

All right, thanks for all your responses. Everything is much clear now for me!
So I'm gonna make a Freeze mage without thalnos first. But I'll keep echo mage idea in my mind for the future if I'll have enough dust for 2 more epics some time. It's because I appreciate fun and strategy all together in this game and Echo Mage have that potential to fulfill my joy I believe. (So do Freeze i guess, but it's popular, you know what i mean:)) (And i need to say that, that streamer called Massan really provoked me to make an echo deck. He's really good at it and he has awesome videos with it)
