RandomScribbles posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition #4.17 - Submission TopicCookie's dual tribe nature is a bit awkward if you make a minion, so I chose to make his weapon instead, and gave him control of a Bluegill Warrior and a Southsea Deckhand, cards of both tribes that are functionally identical to signify his dual nature.
Gameplay wise, this card is CRAZY versatile. It can threaten face; it can take out one big thing; it can be AoE. It can be a Fireball; it can be a Consecration; it can be a pre-nerf Force of Nature. Of the rogue's existing cards, it's basically a more powerful Perdition's Blade. It fills that same AoE plus board presence role that Dark Iron Skulker fills, only in exchange for being a little weaker when used as AoE, it can be used offensively. It is, after the Blade Flurry nerf, exactly what Rogue AoE should look like imo.

Flavor Text: They only follow it because it shines.
I really would like to make the "murloc, beast and dragon" archetype a thing. So this is a card to further improve it! It works like a Twilight Guardian but it gets better as its conditions are getting met. So in the worst scenario it's a turn 1 Scaled Nightmare and best case (albeit a situational one) a 6 mana, 3/9 Taunt/Divine Shield!
Also, I would like to thank @RedneckBudha for the name input (changed from Arcane Warchief to Arcane Defender)
Hope you guys like it :) -

Ophion-EU posted a message on Would You Pay For New Features? Blizzard Asks in a New Hearthstone SurveyPosted in: NewsI would pay for a 2v2 mode. Though that is only because I've been playing for a while and would welcome it as an expansion of sorts. If I were a new player and saw that 2v2 was behind a paywall, then I'd probably find it unacceptable since it feels like a basic feature, and all basic features in a free to play game should be earnable through in-game means.
I would pay for a full fledged campaign. The production quality doesn't have to be super high (no custom hero assets or cards, etc), I'd rather want as many "levels" as possible, and they got to have a proper difficulty (unlike adventures which are usually either super easy, super easy with a custom deck, or brutally difficult to the point where you just win trough luck).
I'd pay for certain clan/guild features, but I'm not sure what a clan/guild could be used for in the current state of Hearthstone, since there are zero cooperative elements aside from the Mechazod brawl.
I wouldn't pay for this, but better matchmaking would be greatly appreciated. Right now your success as a player on ladder is more based on the deck you use than how good you are at playing the game, at least until you reach high legend. This greatly limits which decks you can use to rank up with, which is further limited by which cards you own, and even further by what you actually enjoy playing. The only upside of the current system is for people who really like building and optimizing decks, which the current system does reward, mostly right after a new set release. Personally I would like a rating system where if you are playing a weaker deck than the average strongest deck, the system will match you with similarly skilled players using similarly weak decks, or with worse players using better decks. So in the current meta, Midrange Shaman would be the only deck with zero handicap since it's the statistically best deck, and something like Mill Rogue would have a lot of handicap. Finding a way to estimate the strength of decks might be a little tricky, but with so many players and with most decks of a certain type being almost identical in their card lists, it should be possible to do something like assign all decks that are similar enough to a broad category, and then crunch match statistics for that category to produce a score similar to what HearthArena does for cards in Arena. -

Note: There is an issue with photo bucket not linking my minion that summons this weapon so I have attached it below and will be working on trying to fix it.

Token Mageeee! And frost mage synergy obviously. Play Quel'dorei or frosty, then Frozen! (Or vice versa for frosty enforcer.) Little guys lock down the board to keep either combo option alive.
Next: A 2 card Combo involving two legendaries that work AGAINST each other! Like the opposite of examples we've seen ingame so far!
1
Your cards look great! All pretty solidly made as well I can't wait to see more from you!
1
Alot of druids use mana accelerators to some effect. Great synergy obviously with things like Innervate.
Next: A new C'thun card that doesen't give him a +x/+x effect! For paladin too since they have no c'thun love with all their new healy cards.
2
Maybe it's meant to replace Soot Spewer for standard and supplement C'thun, also it's not got any mech synergies.
3
Randuin Wynn! i'd put him in my Randenoreno mage.

At least someone else is excited!

Befitting such a great orc.
Next: An Evil minion that has been turned towards goodness! (An example would be Ragnaros, Lightlord)
2
Well we haven't seen all the warrior cards, maybe there will be one that will synergize with this.

As with any inspire minion it's pretty slow so I gave it premium stats. Wanted to make a themed card and I really like the faceless ones!
