Dude the problem is when the top four cards of the game are from the same class. That’s a balance issue.

samuellima91 posted a message on Lunacy experience remains the samePosted in: General DiscussionPeople don't seem to understand a pretty obvious thing. The nerfs weren't meant to make Lunacy Mage worse against its good matchups. They were meant to make sure that its bad matchups beat it even harder. The nerf to the Watch Posts should give some breathing room for Aggro decks to come back into the game. With more aggro decks populating the ladder, Lunacy Mage will start running into more bad matchups and those should bring its win rate down to a reasonable level where it's not utterly garbage but far from meta defining. They don't want the deck to die because a lot of people enjoy it but they also don't want ladder tryhards thinking that it's super competitive and that they should play it for maximum efficiency on their climb to the high ranks. This should diminish the total population of the deck and its win rate should come down to an okay number (not great but not terrible either).

BrokenCycle posted a message on Are there core cards you are very unhappy to see ?Posted in: General DiscussionWell, the page still doesn't load for me, but Counterspell definitely has not been in 100% of mage decks for the past 7 years. It has been really unpopular to run in many metas.

MurlocHolmes_HS posted a message on Introducing the Core Set, Classic Format, Legacy Set & More!Posted in: NewsIt's not too confusing. So, basically the game already has a "Core Set" -- Classic cards and Basic cards. However, they never change; so alot of classes end up feeling kind of the same each year. Because they never change alot of people have said for a long time that Hearthstone has an "Evergreen" Core Set.
With the changes, this Set will change each year. So, when the rotation occurs (first expansion drop each year), we'll also get a new Core Set. I'd assume it'll involve the a combination of cards from the existing Core Set, Wild Cards, and new cards -- but, we will see.
Also, the general consensus in the community has been that this is something that needed to change for the long term health of the game. Again -- a "Evergreen" Core Set leads to classes and decks feeling too similar from year to year.

This really is a game changer. This can make bad heroes good, especially if their hero power can't really be buffed without becoming broken.

I'm guessing this is going to be pretty big since they are putting so much effort forth.

They used Reckless Apprentice. It used their hero power to kill the 3 health water elemental, so the Honorable Kill triggered and increased its damage. That's not bug, that's just how it works. Honorable Kill can be triggered multiple times by Apprentice if the health lines up.

I had a funny match against bomb warrior. I got a death knight card at the end of every turn, and I had so many bombs in my deck that I just played 1 card each turn and made sure I had enough to burn my draw. The death knight weapon + the death knight buff got me the victory.

Magister Dawngrasp is like the fastest a card has gotten a buff. I wonder if it started at 7 and they pushed it to 8.

Fun deck! I have played 26 matches with it so far and I have a 65.4% winrate with it. Went on a pretty long winstreak to start. Its rough when you only get your big stuff in your opening hand/mulligan, though.

Any streamer that is sponsored to play a game will have some sort of thing saying as much or will tell you as much, because they have to. Or do you think they will cop to being paid by Raid: Shadow Legends to promote their game but not Hearthstone?

I need to know if Scabbs snapshots their warband from their last battle or from when you press the button, because that will dictate when exactly you should use the power. You may want to wait until closer to the end of the turn to see if they get a triple or not if it works a certain way.

Korrak the Bloodrager seems like he will be a menace.

I thought this was a "Draw" card at first. This just add copies of the spells to your hand, meaning they still exist in your deck. Crazy.
