I think you should still get the elemental because it did kill the enemy. But the game probably resolves the interaction in a way that doesn't give you one.
Innervate: Doesn't fill like it fixes the issues. Druid will still have 10 mana by the time you are on your 5th crystal.
Fiery War Axe: Indifferent towards this. It was annoying to deal with at 2 mana and it doesn't feel like changing it to 3 will offer up much of a change. Especially not with the pirate package.
Hex: Annoying card to deal with but I didn't feel like it needed a nerf?
Murloc Warleader: I think people cared more about the 2 attack than anything.
Spreading Plague: Will still see play. 1 mana is nothing to the effect.
Honorable Mentions
Ultimate Infestation: Feels like the ramp that Druids get is more of a problem than what this card does.
Ice Block: Was more of a problem when Reno was around. If you get a Mage down to 1HP and activate this, unless they have an instant win combo or you are similarly low, you are probably still going to win.

This. I've done this since Hearthstone came out. I get at least 70 packs of the current expansion and that's usually enough for me.
