"Our favorite Blood Elf Prince surely had great time with the Naga..."
Whenever a minion is summon without having played from hands (both players), it's replaced with an Outland Invader, a.k.a, the Felhound. Minion affected by this is not really transformed, they just simply not be summoned. So if you intend to summon a minion from hand or deck, they will still be in your hand or deck till the end.
I don't play WoW so not really sure if this works. Since Blood Elf became playable from The Burning Crusade, I think this would make sense.
First version works similar to Celestial Emissary, the Spell Damage +2 only affects the chosen card. Text could be "It has Spell Damage +2", whichever makes more sense.
Second version means you draw a minion and give it Spell Damage. I think it's obvious with Discover mechanic, but should the text be "Draw it and give it Spell Damage +2" to make it clear instead?
Moreover I think the Plague literally cannot regenerate.
This means if you damage it to 50Hp and lets it restore HP (Lifesteal or even Nozari). The next time you come back, its Hp will be set to its lowest value, 50HP in this case.
You return to the tavern, get some cards from Bob, and return to the Plague Lord. And yes, the Plague Lord's HP is equal to whatever you left behind.
Was be able to defeat Plague Lord of Death with 1 run only thanks to that card.
"Don't deal with the Demon. Especially an unidentified one."
Since there are only 4 Unidentified Items in the game, I think it's safe to use "Choose". This effect works similarly to Heistbaron Togwaggle.
Just came up with my very first idea. Basically just a River Crocolisk that gives you a 0/3 body. Most of the time it will be just an okay 2 drop, but an additional body can work with buff such as Dire Wolf Alpha. Can also helps deck that has synergy with the Coin without feeling lost in tempo.
Not sure why everyone thinking this as salty thread lol. I think that could be possible option.
Thinking about Zephrys the Great, it's true that the card cannot generate itself since it's not in Classic or basic set, but there is just no reason it cannot generate bouncing effect such as Shadowstep. Game wise, they just intend to make that so the game can go smoothly, not real reason that actually affects the game mechanic.
Same thing happen with Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron, it cannot cast another Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron. Then why should Archivist Elysiana generate herself?
It's nice to see Kael in Hearthstone. I wonder why he isn't in the game already...
Anyways, the implementation is alright, although I don't like how redundant the Hero Power and the Battlecry are. I'd change the Battlecry to something more impactful. I mean, the card costs 8 Mana...
The effect isn't all that interesting and doesn't seem to match the creature. I'd start from scratch, to be honest.
Pretty meh effect for a legendary, especially since Rush and Stealth are anti-synergistic.
Your card has very good flavor. It doesn't seem related to the theme, but it's probably my ignorance about WoW.
However, the wording should be "This minion never triggers any Secrets."
Doesn't seem very original. However, judging the number of upvotes you have, it has very good flavor related to The Burning Crusade.
Lady Vashj should be a Shaman, not a Hunter. Besides, I think Akama is more interesting.
Your card is quite nice. It has a combination of simple effects that work really well together, similarly to Zilliax.
Be careful, however, since it has the Old Gods watermark.
Go with Magtheridon. I think it could win the competition.
I think Vindicator Maraad is slightly more interesting. I like that his Hero Power is like Warlock's but with healing instead of damage, which is nice given the theme and the fact that Paladin and Warlock are opposite classes.
Kargath is your best card, without a doubt.
My issue with it is that Windfury and healing are not Warrior mechanics. Mechanically, it should be a Shaman card, but given the character is a Warrior, Neutral would be an okay compromise.
I like the version that interacts with spells better. The card isn't very shiny, though.
The Soul Charge thing makes the card very complicated without giving it much depth. Besides, Overkill is exclusive to Rastakhan.
I'd personally try with another design.
The pun is very funny, although the card is slightly reminiscent of Demonbolt.
You underestimate how valuable the coin is for certain decks. Without Thaurissian, this card is a very potent combo enabler in Standard. Its simple, but it will definitely see experimentation.
Hmmm I feel like it's a rather niche effect. It works, I suppose.
As someone noted, this would be better without the Quest restriction. It's fairly similar to Grandmummy in how it operates though, and paladin already has a decent 2 mana reborn class card.
It still doesn't meet the requirements. Please read over them more carefully.
Hmmm interesting. I'd give this to shaman, though, since Hex is a little odd as a Warlock card.
I would avoid custom keywords, as we do not provide a tooltip if this were to make it to the finalist poll. And yeah, this an invalid submission.
Looks like a grandma to me, haha. Interesting tech card.
Doesn't meet competition requirements.
4/4 on 2 mana hmmm. It's not actually that bad, since the initial 1/3 is a poor stat line and the 3/1 can easily be cleared by an opposing zoolock who went first, or mage, rogue, or druid. Still, it is a solid zoo-like card that some classes will find hard to deal with early-game. Now that I think about it, this card is almost better in every way compared to Kindly Grandmother. You might need a different idea.
I will review the rest at a later date.
*It may helps you by copying a other class card in your hand from Pilfer, Clever Disguise etc. to complete Bazaar Burglar quest.
*It also may helps by copying some minions like Glacial Shard, Novice Engineer that used for completing Crystal Core quest.
(Note: I had to change the design of the card due to a misunderstooding the designing rule, sorry)
Holy actual fuck. The wording this expansion is on another level of retardedness. Fuck. Seriously team 5...how can they be so fucking inconsistent. 'This', 'Someone else', the Discover and draw confusion of Masters Call, the summon effect of Totemic Smash and the bug of Ice Walker with the mage spirit. I can guarantee this will confuse the average player . And that's just this expansion.
Their inconsitencies in wording is a real pet peeve of mine. Love the game been playing since beta, not gonna quit over this, but fuck me sideways.
Geez. Feels disappointing, man. This card would be so different if the Deathrattle was secret. For one, your opponent would have to just do wild guesswork to figure it out, and it makes her super intimidating as she could end up doing anything, even if she just discovers into Loot Hoarder or something. Could you imagine the preemptive Silences out of fear/caution? The other half is that, since she gains the Deathrattle publicly, your opponent knows exactly what card is in your hand (whether it shows it or not, you can still just know it'll be either Thalnos or Hoarder, for examples).
What the heck. And it has nothing to do with that super sweet legendary spell. Come on, Blizzard, it would have been so easy for this to be incredible.
