Twig of the World Tree makes the turn you play really bad, and it's hard to break, you usually ramp up to at least 8-9 mana before you are able to break it or Medivh it anyway, and mana refresh is not that necessary either, Kun is more than enough.
I tried to make a pseudo-budget version of this deck (i used jade idol, and jade blossom), i did not have tigers, ixlid and nzoth, I'm certainly not crafting nzoth since he will rotate out next expansion but im willing to craft tigers if this deck is viable without nzoth. And is ixlid really that impactful should i craft it? what would you suggest?
Admittedly, paladin was never in a spot where he was dominating against everyone (except secret paladin) but he was never in a bad spot either, he had always a deck or two in the first or second tiers, maybe you can argue that in KofT he was at his worst, but he certainly wasn't the worst of all classes.
When Call to arms and legendary weapon was revealed I was pretty sure aggro paladin was going to be the next Raza priest, so far in KaC aggro pally seems really fucking good, and there doesn't seem to be anything that really fucks him up, so I'm holding on to my prediction.
Paladin was never "not viable" and I don't think he will ever be. I think the current worst class is Shaman, evolve was at most in tier 2 in KofT and that was the highest tier Shaman. Now evolve shaman just got screwed over with the new expansion thanks to all the understatted minions and not getting any OP cards. Sure he got some elementals but the elemental package is not good enough to begin with. So far I have only find use for Shaman with creating more jades with murmuring elemental and pray for good evolves (which occurs less than mediocre evolves now)
Whether it is fun to play paladin or not depends on person, but if it was not fun for you, you probably wouldn't have played 2000+ games with him in the first place
I was (and still am) busy for a couple of weeks, so I did not get to play much, but the last time I checked (which was apperently two weeks ago), this deck was alright against control and midrange decks (as long as the game doesn't go way too long) but it struggled against pretty much all meta aggro/tempo decks like tempo mage, rogue, zoolock etc. I dont think there would be much of a change in two weeks since meta was already settled before then, so my guess is it's pretty much the same
As for the new legendary, I think it can be really useful, because elementals have strong elementals, and maybe you can combine them with thrall dk, also it has really nice stats. So there is a potential, but I would be lying if I said "It's broken, definitely craft asap" because some other class might turn out to be completely shitting on elemental shaman (my current candidate is Duskbreaker). I say it's better to wait and see.
The thing about Prince Keleseth in this deck is it's not always a good idea to play it as soon as you can, like other aggro/tempo decks. It's incredibly powerful to play him after you play Queen Carnassa

I use second Swipe, Mire Keepers and Jade Spirit, but I guess those two would defeat the purpose of Oaken Summons. I also started using Arcane Tyrant, heard some people are also using Arcane Giant too.
How does the Oaken Summons + Ironwood Golem combo perform? Isn't it awful to draw Ironwood Golem?

another broken card for a broken class, why am i not surprised?

you either use them as a removal and evolve them, or use them on marin's treasure so you can get 2 treasures.

why don't you use Freezing Trap isn't it the best hunter secret overall

if you are a f2p player or just want to use your dust carefully, don't craft aya, it will rotate out of standard in march
