I have been a little disappointed in this PvE compared to the last two. Tombs of Terror was wonderful, so I’m confused as to why they went back to the “wing” gameplay compared to the new formula they had developed since Dungeon Run. Seems almost like they peaked lol
Don’t get me wrong, I love the flavor and new cards that have been added. But I was surprised at the lack of difficulty. After replaying all the newer solo adventures; from K&C to SoU (excluding Boomsday) the amount of RNG seemed to lessen each time IMO. But the same is not true for the older adventures that require deckbuilding. Those seem to worsen with specific bosses, with Lich King being one of the most obnoxious of the bunch.
For me personally, one of the best parts of the older adventures is the ability to exploit a specific weakness when building a deck. It helps to be fun and creative with it. And while I realize that’s not everyone’s cup of tea, I found it dissatisfying how easily I could beat the “heroic” bosses in Galakrond’s Awakening so far.
Perhaps next week will surprise me, but so far I have been able to beat every boss with Exodia mage. More than half of them on the first try. Does anyone else feel a bit underwhelmed with the difficulty? Below is the deck I used, I found it Looking for a way to beat a heroic boss in League of Explorers.
I know OTK mage is vastly OP for these Solo Adventures, but I am speaking about the bosses themselves. Again, these are just my opinions and I’m curious for insight on why they decided to change back.
That would be interesting! The other two cards would have to be really strong.
This would wreck my first try hard deck: (Ray of Frost, Frost Nova, Questing Adventurer)
But I farmed a ton of gold that week on tavern brawl using: Ice lance, Frost Bolt and Frost Nova. Sometimes keeping up to two novas but basically always using them like an ice block once you get too low. Against spell decks Ice Block would be better and is arguably overall safer but Frost Nova lets you control yours heath h early on. Otherwise deck is all face. If you know you won’t need Frost Nova till turn 8 somehow, keep all the Ice Lance’s you can and every Frostbolt you get, follow up with a couple or more ice lances. Super easy, just start out hero powering health down till you have to freeze the board a few timesand eventually go for the throat and do 24 damage in one turn lol
I think a necrium vial as I’m pretty sure the effect with Baron Rivendare doesn’t stack. It’s one mana cheaper and worse in some ways but provides a body. Then again, people run weapon removal and there’s really no weapon buffs/synergy in the deck; so if you’re facing less aggro maybe that’s a better swap.
My last guess would be umbra; same mana cost but the effects are a lot better if you can keep her up sometimes.
really any of these work I think. Personally I’m going to try swapping him out for a Vial first.
I disagree, I think at the time of Frozen throne leading up to the Odd & Even decks, most of these cards we wild cards for decks like , and the only legendary that's bad I'd say is Maxx but maybe even that would some day be good lol More than that, the mode itself it is fun and I think it adds a really cool setting for the game. With n'zoth decks, ,combo, aggro and midrange decks. I think there is a lot of possibility for counter play with the cards and that's why I enjoyed it. Try the game mode if you want to play wild, hopefully they put old adventure up for gold eventually, let me know when it's real and I'll be back
I don't actually know if this is true considering the secret, but deathrattles are supposed to resolve before spells so I'm guessing you should survive? Sounds kinda weird though, I'm going to test it. edit: Yeah you die anyways, I guess if your health is a 0 without lifesteal that's it

That’s not what “jumping to conclusions” means.
There is no conclusion there, just a question lol

I mean, that’s nothing new yeah? Been on the decline for awhile.
Therefore it’s strange that quality lessened so noticeably compared to the other cash grabs.

10 Mana brawl was the best alternative game mode imo.

That’s what it will be called?

Sure looks like it from hearthstone splash background on Battle net.
Do you think he will also be neutral?
edit: looks like Kibler will be revealing Murozond. I wonder if it will be OP

Officially, the pack timer does not exist according to Blizzard. Message them

What? What does that have to do with a psychopomp like Anubis?
