I've been playing for about 3 months now and I continue to break down duplicates to build legendary minions. I have enough for another but came across people are talking about cards being phased out at the end of the year. I guess there are card rotations or something. Anyhow, I don't want to build cards that will be phased out. How does it work? Will Gran Tourny cards be shifted into Standard? Will standard cards be phased out? I simply don't know if there is a base set of cards that I know will remain, like can I build Grommash Hellscream or Lord Jaraxxus and not have to worry about them going away in several months?
Glad it worked. Thanks for trying the deck. It's a bit brutal to mulligan for both cards you need but at least it's a matter of "when" and not "if". Check out my other decks if you need more help.
That's a good sub. They do have to trade into it but if you can keep it up it's a excellent play. The logic behind the double Gorehowl is to always have a way to clear minions even though its at a cost to your own health / armor. Most definatly want to run that Justicar Trueheart.
I think the base deck is pretty ok. Maybe switching out legendary cards based on play style. Rhonin doesnt give you mutch but Anomalus or Deathwing might give you good board clear. As for the standard deck i played around with different variations and this one worked. I tried running two Ice Blocks and two Ice Barriers but I didn't see the value. I found that if I had to play two Ice Blocks they were usually back to back and in the end it didn't help so I went for more DPS. Same thing goes with Counterspell. I know a lot of people don't like running Cabalist's Tome due to RNG but just like Yogg sometimes you luck out and no matter what, you can use almost any of the cards, they just have varying degrees of usefulness. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
It's a very hard fight, and it took me forever so keep trying and you'll eventually get it. I won with the deck I listed so I know you can. RNG when you pull cards is always a factor, just the way the game is.
This worked first try, thanks for the deck list. Saving grace was finding a Deathwing and dumping a real good hand. But what good is a hand if you're dead.
Does anyone know of a deck that works using standard cards and no wild cards? I just can't seem to beat him on heroic. Tried several decks and I just cant outpace him.

Awesome, glad it worked for you. I actually used the same deck on Heroic Skelesaurus Hex in League of Explorers in case you haven't done that yet.

Deck works after couple tries. Subed Ancient of War × 2 (cuz I dont have) with a second Sunwalker and added Aviana for late game mega-minion drop.

RNG is brutal. PLayed 10 matches so far and all I'm doing is constantly clearing the board. I can't seem to go face.
