I'm not sure if it's been said but any cards being pushed away from standard should have a full dust refund when the new expansion comes out.

Raighnar posted a message on New Hearthstone Priest: Tyrande Whisperwind Available Now for Twitch Prime MembersPosted in: NewsOk READ If you wanna get it in a country other than the listed ones. There is no scamaz or anything (I think). Ok here is what you have to do.
1.Create a new amazon account.
2.In billing and payment settings link your usual credit/debit card but in address write a UK address (Just choose something public) Its not illegal since its your own card.
3.Now change/create your Amazon Kindle country in your account settings and set it to UK. You dont need to have Kindle or anything. If you try to link your normal Twitch account with the new Amazon account it will give you an error and tell you that you have to set your Kindle country anyway.
4. Once you have set your Kindle country in the new amazon account click to try Amazon Premium. If you succeed you will have to wait for like 5-15 mins for the Free Premium to activate ( you can check if its done in your Amazon Account under My Premium settings.
5.Once you see that you have the 30 day Amazon Premium activated go to Twitch and log in with your Normal Twitch account and click for the premium option. It will redirect you to a web page where it will ask you if you wanna link your Normal Twitch account with your New Amazon account. Click Continue and BAM Enjoy Tyrande :).
Dont hate me for this I personally think its unfair to have only chosen countries have free content and there is nothing wrong with this since its your own credit card.

AnOverlyLongUsername posted a message on Fandral StaghelmPosted in: Fandral StaghelmBrode said on stream all the transform minions gain combined stats. So the Druid of the Flame becomes a 5/5. Druid of the Claw becomes a 4/6 with charge and taunt. Druid of the Saber becomes a 3/2 with Charge and Stealth. And as a cool bonus, they all have unique artwork to represent the combined form.

iandakar posted a message on Formats and the Brilliance of BlizzardPosted in: General DiscussionOk seriously, why are people posting these theories like they found some insane conspiracy theory.
Yes, formats are very profitable. Yes, they make it so that instead of just getting a few cards from an expansion you have to pick up large swaths of the expansion every single time to keep up. Yes, the power level has been dropped so that they aren't as strong as the older cards and, thus, won't be of much use in Wild.
Here's the big secret that's forgotten.. This is. EXACTLY WHY FORMATS ARE WANTED BY THE COMMUNITY.
Yes, we have to buy the expansions in mass. We WANT to buy the expansions in mass. We DIDN'T like TGT's '3 cards, that's it' situation. We DON"T want to stick to the same cards over and over.
We WANT a drop in power level. We WANT cards that would be normally considered 'too weak' to be worthwhile. Yes, that does mean they won't do much to Wild. We DIDN'T want them to.
Jeesh, When blizzard brought the idea up to some of the prominent players of the game with a more watered down version that didn't push out so many cards, the players demanded blizzard to take a more extreme route. Remove MORE cards from rotation. That we have Classic was Blizzard working against the wishes of those players for the specific purpose of giving players SOMETHING that will survive of their collection once rotation kicks in and they don't keep up. In MTG, once the core set and expansions rotate out, you pretty much have 0 cards remaining and have to start from scratch, sometimes having to rebuy reprints of old cards to use those in Standard. The players asked for this future: Blizzard said no.
The big secret isn't Blizzard playing some trick on their players in the name of money. It's the players who turn out to be more willing to give up their money than the company is in taking it.
Sometimes the public aren't sheep. They are, you know. CONSUMERS actually willing to trade time or money to get more of something they want.
Sorry, but the "Blizzard is fooling you with formats!" bit is getting old. I might need to leave these topics alone from here on out.

Rjomario posted a message on New Paladin Legendary Card - Ragnaros, LightlordPosted in: Card DiscussionQuote from wisesquirrel >>I personally don't want the card to be a dragon because of deck options. Short disclaimer, I dislike the popularity of Dragon decks, particularly priests. Very hard to deal with decks that get so much value out of only running dragons.
If it's a dragon, it only makes dragon decks stronger. If dragon decks get stronger, more people will run Dragon Paladin instead of another archetype which would make ladder more homogeneous. You can still add it to your deck, and it will be just as powerful as in any other non dragon deck, Lightlord I mean.
The card not being a dragon creates more deck options, Dragon decks can use it, but they can't do unfair plays like a turn 6 Lightlord or use the Lightlord as a Dragon support proc.
That is a fair assessment and a valid point. However, you're making the assumption that dragon paladin already is a strong deck and that it would be stronger than a pure control deck with this in it.
Paladin doesn't have the wide array of spells required to be a good control deck so minion heavy will always be the way to go.And the fact that making a deck good will get more people playing it, making the game homogeneous is not an argument. That's why if this was a dragon would make that particular deck better and add variety to the game, not the other way around. -

Sowitroli posted a message on Ragnaros, The lightlord!Posted in: General DiscussionLOH is very different from this card. With LOE you put no pressure, you just heal and draw, and is good when you have some kind lf board or your opponent has none so your passive turn isnt that bad. Also it can hurt you in fatigue. This light Ragnaros puts instant pressure, and if not dealt with instantly can win the game with that many heals.

First time in my life I am ever sad to see a card nerf.
"We will not allow Yogg Saron to go beyond 4 or 5." Let's be honest, all Yogg users know Yogg tends to kill himself rather early on.
They intend to remove the card from the game. Good thing I already had my fun with it since Day 1 of the expansion.

I just got a chain of 3 on my single copy of Cabalist's Tome. I've been getting a very large amounts of victories with my Yogg-Saron, Hope's End.

Just like you said MTuser024. I saw the recording of the stream and Brode mentioned Druid of the Flame would transform into a 5/5 body, the upside of the two transformations.
Makes sense since these Druids transform, so you will only end up with 1 body, the druid itself.

Fun card. The value! I can finally play 3 mirror image spells in a row.

If we assume it is impossible for you to access a computer. I would try asking Blizzard support if you are worried, tell them about your situation.

Silence does more good than evil.
It shuts down those huge buffs like Velen's Chosen, Blessing of Kings, Blood Knight. If silence were temporary, big buffs would destroy us. If it can't remove those cheesy threats, the evil people win.
If you are upset about attacks getting through your taunt minions, either take control of the board yourself or USE HEALING. As hard as it is to believe, a deck with pure healing hard counters face decks.

I need Big Game Hunter to deal with Ragnaros, if you are going to nerf it, at least make his battlecry destroy / deal 8 damage to 8 attack or higher minions or:
"Battlecry: Destroy Ragnaros the Firelord"
Not sure why people dislike him, he is a guardian more than a threat, he keeps us safe from big bullies. I love him, I will marry him, even if he messes up my jousts.

If you are wondering why there aren't more custom decks in the game, there is a reason behind it.
The main reason is card quality. In Hearthstone, neutral cards are on average just weak, those cards are never going to be added to constructed decks and do well.
This leaves us with a small pool of cards to choose from, quality neutrals, powerful basic class cards, and quality set class cards. There is little room for diversity.
My deck is definitely no better than all the net decks, my "Beast Friends" deck is a beast synergy shenanigans deck that tries too hard to make beast tribe cards like Call Pet, Scavenging Hyena and Tundra Rhino work by using unfair cards like Savannah Highmane, Houndmaster, Kill Command and Animal Companion.
I've been having a blast with my beast deck, using my basic class cards to snowball and Savannah Highmane to steal my opponent's tempo is the most fun I've had in a while. Beasts are the best.

I ran him since TGT launched. The card is solid. It is not an anti aggro card because of their body numbers, it's a control card that deals with larger threats. Aldor Peacekeeper deals better against aggro, and does about the same job against control, but the additional 4 hp is really nice when you are going into a fatigue war.
I'm surprised he's not more popular, I guess nobody wants to make the effort of running the card unless it guarantees them an advantage all the time unlike the more aggressive legendaries. My favorite part is his entrance quote
