Kazakus is not needed and you can replace Vendor, Magescribe and other "bad" card with some 4 drops.
But I recognize it's pretty disappointing when you're stuck with no 4 drops. That's the major reason why I loose some games.

Pursuit of Justice definitely adds more value vs. priest/warlock/control warrior!
Cariel is a great card (especially vs. aggro like hunter, paladin, rush warrior) - the rush helps fight for board, sticky w divine shield, sometimes discounts Libram of Hope/Libram of Wisdom/Blessing of Might. Would definity recommend grab her in future if you can. She will be around next 18 months in standard and viable in most paladin archetypes!

Yeah it's a work in progress!
Only thing is if you add a neutral like broom you have to remove high exarch
Conviction seems more like an aggro card to me, libram and dude are generally slower packages/not aimed at face like most aggro decks, but conviction could definitely add some finisher damage vs. control (warlock in particular). Conviction is always viable if you can find a spot for it
Pursuit of justice is definitely the strongest in this case, let me know if you make it work and what you remove for it?

Thank you! Love playing dude pally

Please comment with any ideas. Trying to make Dude paladin great again!

I developed a version of DR priest really early, before the meta version became prominent, back when Convincing Infiltrator was released. It was the first original deck I built that went on to become viable and well known. You're right, it was a grief deck for sure. So I love this idea and might try it out. However, I feel like having Al'ar taint your rez pool is really bad. Your other elementals are such better targets to re-summon. I gather you've included it because it can be played on T5, making it the second cheapest minion in the deck. But 3 health is way too easy to remove. Given you are running N'Zoth, I think there are three cards that would be better in this slot:
You have four other elementals in the deck. Al'ar should be replaced. I think the acolyte takes the cake, even if it is easy to remove at 1 health. No one is running silence so it's a guaranteed 5/8 taunt demon. One copy is probably fine since you're running Gift of Luminance.
edit: I also feel like Reliquary of Souls is worth considering for fairly obvious reasons. At 1 mana, you would almost always keep it against aggro. Great rez target, great to pull a 5-cost reliquary prime off corrupted Insight. Since it isn't a tribal minion, it doesn't fuck with N'Zoth. Etc. Etc.

I tried this deck yesterday and went 3-0, completly destroyed a rush warrior, felt good. Are people sleeping on Shaman ?

I am the best demon hunter player out there Kapp

Good to hear it's not just me, this version of quest priest felt a lot better than any other I had played.
I might try adding the tradable 4 drop with silence. I really like magescribe, but it cluttered my hand. I find hand space to be important when playing a deck like this, typically I am playing one card per turn so it can be difficult.
I will experiment some more, hopefully upcoming nerfs make this a bit more competitive in the meta. Thank you again!

I enjoy it, but it's just so slow compared to a lot of the meta, most decks can beat this one to the finish quite easily. 4 drops can be a problem as well, been a couple games where I'm stuck needing a 4 drop. Considering replacements for Vendor, Wandmaker and Magescribe as they can be slow/awkward. Will let you know if I come up with anything better.
Super satisfying when you pull a nice curve and hit them with Alura to end it, even better if it's an OTK Alura off the Blood God.

Going to give this a shot, GREAT concept. Thank you!

I fooled around with some non pure variants, but I missed the extra healing/rush Yrel provides. I bet Samuro can be a lifesaver, I find myself getting overwhelmed against some of the hyper aggro decks in the meta.
I had been wanting to try the Caravan, but felt like it'd be lacking in late game situations. I'd love seeing it on 1 or 2 though! Overall I think you're right, it's missing a little here and there. Hopefully we see more dude support in the next expansion.

Duuuude, this is disgusting! Good stuff

Thank you for the deck, I've played around with it a little. First impressions are good, I've faced mostly DH and Hunter with success, even had a 3-4 game win streak. Lost to the one Priest I played (ANNOYING!) but he was able to manasaber out Galakrond on 6, I ran out of steam before fatigue became a factor. Fun deck to play with a ton of solutions.
I appreciate the detail you've put into the guide it has helped very much, will report back after some more play, thanks again! :D

Brooo that DH matchup was insane, he had it all and still couldn't come up with the win xD I feel the ooze definitely is a must in the meta and something this deck sorely misses. I can burn away minions but can be tough to outrace DH/Warrior/Hunter when they still have their weapons and hero powers. That druid dropped 2 Malygos and still couldn't handle you lol
Zephrys is awesome, I think you got the right idea, I should be more open to the idea of dropping him early in an aggro matchup if needed, same with soulfire.
2
Thanks for this, you definitely don't shy away from using your soulfires early. I have a bad habit of hanging onto them for the late game, I suppose they aren't as important against DH/H matchups where board clear takes priority. I even seen you throw down that Zephyrus without his effect, I would almost never, but can't say that was a bad play considering how quickly you have to deal with aggro threats.
I'll keep trying, see if I can't get my own streak going and finally make it to legend, cheers mate

12-0 is insane bro XD
How do you consistently beat DH and Hunter?? I feel like I'm about 50/50 in those matchups. Even worse when I play a bomb warrior, those bombs fuck all the highlander cards and my upgraded hero power, tome into a 0 cost bomb. I may try your variant and see how that fairs, looks solid.
gratz on the streak, you'll be legend in no time

Tried this deck with mixed results, would def appreciate a little more explanation.
Frizz Kindleroost feels like a wasted slot as it doesn't stack with plot twist, not sure if it's even worth playing after completing the quest and getting the tome.
