Dude, have you read the article? He explicitly said, they only use the skill rating for statistics. Matchmaking won't get touched by it. You got way too angry over nothing here.

Not even remotely a similar case, unless you're in a Lamborghini club where they allow you to rent or trade points you've accumulated against a new one. Don't get why people have to 'try' being smart @ss, we should be able to buy these crappy sets for gold. We've earned it through actual play, it is purely greed once again that they only sell them for cash.
You both have bad arguments.
The Lambo analogy is terrible, but so is your entitled attitude. The game costs money to run, there are hundreds of devs and artists who need to get paid and servers to run etc.
If you're not contributing to the game at all then don't bitch about not getting more shit, you're already getting multiple legendaries, packs galore, way more gold than you were at any point previously, etc. And cosmetics raining from the sky, I remember when to get hero skins for some characters you had to physically go to a theater and watch the Warcraft movie.
I bought just the mega bundle and have no need to buy any of these decks because I already have all the cards from them. If they gave people the ability to just buy whatever deck they wanted with gold why would anyone spend money on the game?

DysprosiumDy posted a message on RegisKillbin & Kripparrian Withdraw From Inn-vitational This Week - Blizzard Announces Plans and ReplacementsPosted in: NewsLook, the problem isn't inviting women. The problem is inviting women because you they're women. (Replace "women" with a sexuality, race or whatever else you like.) Equality doesn't mean you give black people as many medals as white people. Equality means you give people an equal chance to earn a medal regardless of the color of their skin. Now... when you invite female streamers with a smaller viewership over a male streamer with a bigger viewership, simply because you don't have enough women, that's rightly something to be concerned about. It raises eyebrows for all the right reasons.
Everyone, regardless of who you are, gets a shot at becoming an esports champion or popular streamer. There's nothing wrong with giving some underdogs a chance, but you should never turn it into positive discrimination.
In short: the discussion is at least warranted. Let people voice their opinion.

Seeing people that look like you, feel like you, talk like you matters and creates a sense that this is a space for you too and not a space only reserved for other groups.
It only matters to leftist racist people. That is the sad reality. It never mattered to me or any of my non-leftist hearthstone friend.
I watch Regis and Alliestrasza and they look or talk nothing like me, I'm a skinny french boy.
I never felt like I was in a space for tall and fat american people when I was watching Regis. I never felt I was in a girls space when I was watching Allie.
So, you are just flat out wrong in your assumption that it doesn't matter for anyone.
I didn't say that though, I did say it matters for leftist (read : racist) people.
If you don't believe that's true for Hearthstone, go and look through the social media explosion over the weekend, about how women often have a "family tree" in games they play and watch, where one woman leads to another being interested and choosing to become part of that space.
Yes, women like to stay betwen women to feel safe. This is not about representation. This is about being in a video game group that cares about the game more than it cares about seducing the girls in the group.
Edit : I guess I don't need to be offensive to all leftist people, there are good ones too. But everyone knows who I am referring to.

Bjornoman posted a message on Hottest Decks for Forged in the Barrens - Community Favorites - Standard and Wild!Posted in: News""priest players have chosen"" wow, if priest doesn't get anything viable (because heal priest is just dumb there is literally no wincon), priest cannot make make a single deck that can stand in the meta and not be the classic control Type. I really hope spell priest will get some meta breaking tools next expansion so there will be more variety.

You're a way bigger problem than an OP deck or the people that play it. Roping every turn because you don't like the deck you're playing against is immature baby bullshit. And you're calling the other players "short bus kiddos". Hilarious.
If there's a problem with a deck, your ire should be directed at Blizzard, not those that play it. Most people play to win, and most of the time that means playing the strongest deck. This isn't anything new, nor is it a bad thing. The deck might be a bad thing, sure. But that's on Blizz.
"Some people are just meant to be laughed at." Yeah, I was sort of thinking the same thing. 🤔

Seriously. This.

If it makes you feel better, I'll post a deck with nothing but common cards and title it as [75% WIN RATE] which means it's better than that wallet deck. It's so simple!
Edit: I posted the deck, but accidentally typed [47% WIN RATE]. No way I'm playing that deck now. Not with that win rate.

Well isn't that nice for you? Your dignity is safe having never played face hunter. The church will be ever so glad to hear it.

So...Golden Baku the Mooneater and Golden Justicar Trueheart not granting golden hero powers any longer was ...intentional? Kinda makes them useless now and with with no refund that's a pretty big bummer. I realize that probably doesn't affect very many people, but it sure sucks for your's truly.

The beauty of it is, you don't have to understand it. Just enjoy your dust!

Lol take it easy, brother. People pilot broken decks because they win. Every expansion, every meta, every time. This isn't anything new and I have to believe you've conjured up this image of Mage and Paladin players pounding their chests and declaring their superiority to the world. People just want to win games, it's not much deeper than that.
