I love it when people complains without any knowledge of software development. Like if 0-bug software existed lol. Bugs (stupid, small and big ones) exist in Blizzard, Amazon, Google, any bank, ANY SOFTWARE. If you think it doesn't, you're purely ignorant.

They should have made this a sweeping change when they applied it to DQ Alex. Now they just need to clean up the AMOUNT and VARIANCE of card generation effects and we can go back to actually playing HS again.

SirRandsborg posted a message on The Paladin class needs a rework.Posted in: PaladinI didn't read the whole wall. I'll say this though...
Palladian has been to the mountain top, it's consistently in meta even if not tier 1, libram paladin is currently a thing (and I run 17-2 with a homebrew variant d5-legendary and remain over 70% with it after another 40+ games in legend - most of my loses to curved agro DH no less).
Also, 3000 wins and don't know how to counter. So you know the class, but not the game. A lot of players do not realize that the majority of knowledge in making winning plays lies outside know their prefered class... Rather knowing the opponents deck and strategy and playing to counter it.
Lastly, libram paladin is in a very good spot and the new expansion cards offer a lot of support to make it stronger. So while not mind blowing this expansion makes an already META deck stronger.
I think OP you need to learn the game mostly, just not the class. And given your knowledge on AOE and board removals, paladin is one of the better classes for board control/removal and got additional support - even if it requires 2 cards. Clear board and gain tempo for 2 cards is pretty damn good. Or build a 10/1 wild pyromancer board clear with a hand of 0mana librams. There's always been options and still are in paladin.
Pretty short sighted to call a class dead.
Pretty inflammatory comment for not even reading the post.
Again the class isn't BAD in terms if winrates. It can win. It's bad in terms of design, for the reasons I went into. The support cards this expansion are FINE, but it's more of the same, nothing to shore up the glaring flaws in the class. I said it above but 2 Card maybe clear the board if not sticky minions exist is OK with draw to support it, but there's no draw at all. Also, Pyro can't be played in Pure, the only viable non-aggro paladin list.
I made this thread for real feedback, there's no need to throw insults.

user-100394506 posted a message on Game Economy suggestionsPosted in: General DiscussionQuote from eliasfajardo >>Since the game is very expensive and super hard for new players to create cool decks and be part of the community,
Expensive where? If you buy the $50 bundles, they sum $150 per year, which when divided by 12 (months), you get $12.5 per month.
And that's not counting the free packs given every expansion + the gold you get by playing and quests.
Don't have work? Do chores and get paid, or get a job.
Stop going to Starbucks, McDrugs or BK so much and use that money for HS.
$12.5 is what, 3 coffees?150 are 3 new games. Here you are buying cards in a game. It is very expensive. With 150 now you can buy the Ps4.

Let's print many broken cards in order to receive many preorders, we will nerf all after.
This is very dirty. Many people made the pre-order because the expansion was broken.

Sure, the OP's suggestions are unfeasible. But hearthstone is definitely not a cheap game (whether you pay in time or money).
Definitely elements around the use of loot boxes with non owned virtual assets that are questionable. This is true for most 'free to play' games however.

I like how Blizz supported the 1 drop quest. The only thing keeping me to say 'It's just a meme' is Toxmonger. If the meta keeps the warlock taunt wall, well...it will be the same story for any kind of hunter strategy.
Nice guide by the way! Hope you can update the list after the expansion drops.

I got bored of HS since MSoG. Ungoro was interesting but this rotation is one of the most oppressive for certain classes, thus leaving the game (like many people has done) and switching to other alternatives if you like the genre is an optimal idea.
Having said that, play wild or try other games like Gwent, TESL:L, Eternal or even Pokemon! Take a break so you can see HS from outside and see if it deserves to be 'saved'.

A delight to see your hunter decks and guides. Best of luck in this year!

I remember Kripp said once that rogue was the cockroach of HS: it always find a way to be a top tier deck despite the cards they get. I like some unique aspects like the mill one, and the weapon is useful, not OP, but complements the rogue gameplay.

Well, considering your clear the board no matter what... There's little risk to lose tempo playing this card. Considering the new 7 hunter spell, it's a complete joke to other classes.
1
My two cents here. Hunter Hero Power pressures the opponent, but considering the viable decks for hunter there are two situations: 1) you play the tempo game -> can't waste mana to play hero power, mid game you play 2-3 drops with hp; 2) you play hero power on early game -> you have a shitty hand, can't play the tempo, lose board, end game.
Hero Power in used around turn 4-5 unless you have nothing to play, thus losing tempo. DK Alduin is a late game card, but the actual tools make their hero power a OP hunter with viable game ending tools. Give that hunter then the entire community freaks out.
Blizzard is afraid that hunter can become an aggressive control class with the proper tools: board clears (or neat board control) and hand fillers. They solved those problems for druid and priests and turned out to be pretty OP. Hunter can be far superior, they just don't want it. The play with hunter mains with just giving them an incomplete set of tools to play crap :(

I find this card really interesting to work with as it invites to build around a Big archetype. However, if the devs didn't made some early control tools for hunter (or ramp, which is nonsense ofc), then this is just a waste of time in the classic-now-boring mid hunter. The bet is high with this card!

Feral Gibberer! Finally a card that can make viable quest hunter :kappa:

I'm glad the capitalism is ruling the world!
Well, I can't blame Blizzard trying to cover their products against exchange rates but I think they are loosing more money with the abuse against consumers ($$$). Nobody forces you to buy but, HS is so addictive for some people they want to win (and be recognized) so badly it's like raising the price of any drug: they will still buy it no matter what.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me. I even got mad at seeing the 2 copies of some cards.
