One is out of standard and is a neutral. Wouldn't call it power creep.

Tarox_Bladewing posted a message on New Paladin Card Reveal: Benevolent DjinnPosted in: NewsI dont understand why anyone is annoyed by this. It's a 3 drop with solid trading stats and useful effects for a control deck. I'm pretty sick of them pushing bullshitty archetypes for pally, this is a breath of fresh air.

Lyra_Silvertongue posted a message on New Mage Card Reveal: Raven FamiliarPosted in: NewsOld mechanics can be improved upon. While this card doesn't show this you could change the consistently of joust by creating cards that have an above higher than average mana cost while in the deck, then when drawn revert to the typical mana cost appropriate for the balance of the card while in your hand. I saw this in somebody's fan made cards & it seems like a very solid idea.
I feel most mechanics should be revisited in order to improve them and make the game better. Even look at charge. The variant of charge like what Charged Devilsaur has, in that it has charge but can't go face to add to the plague of smorc decks, improved the mechanic to fit more with what I feel most players want to see in that mechanic nowadays.

JLC776 posted a message on Kathrena WinterwispPosted in: Kathrena WinterwispDeck construction around this card will be really cool. Since it's only recruiting from your beast pool, you can build a Big Hunter of sorts and still have non-beast minions, but the card itself is so slow you run the risk of the Big Beasts making it into your hand and thus not being recruitable.

A class not being good doesnt mean they should have an OP card. Rather they should have several good cards.

Lets see what Call of the Wild does:
1- Huffer: 4/2 Charge, a good 4 cost value, can deal instantly with many mid-level minions or deal decent damage to face.
2- Misha: 4/4 Taunt, another solid 4 value card, but more importantly, protects the other 2 from minions.
3- Leok: Raid leader with 2 more health. If CotW is played in an empty board, totals 4/4, if you have more minions can reach up to 8/4. Another decent 4 mana minion.
Now you are combining a solid taunt, a good charger and a decent buffer, all worth about 4 mana by themselves, in 1 single card and 8 mana, and you can even have 2 of them. 3 minions, worth 12 mana in total in 8 mana. Compared to Dr.Balance himself who is a 7 mana card that has 1 7 mana minion and 2 1.5 mana minions for a total of 10 mana.
Call of the Wild currently has MORE value than THE value card.
Now you claim Rag, Grommash and TIrion are similar power for 8 mana. Rag is good, but not nearly that good, Grommash is similarly 4 attack charge and 10 health, not actually as many stats and without enablers for his enrage (inner rage and the like) not that great. Tirion IS arguably stronger, and I think he should be 9 or maybe even 10 mana. But all of those are legendaries. You can only have 1 of them and thats it.The problem with CotW is after spending 7 mana and taking 5 face damage to Flamestrike them, they might pull out ANOTHER one. and if you cantcounter them thats 5 + 12 damage in 2 turns. Not even Rag can afford 17 damage in 2 turns.
And considering all the other 8 or 9 mana cards can bedestroyed by deadly shot, assassinate, entomb, naturalize, etc... a single card that requires a powerful AoE to destroy is not balanced.

Tauren Rogue?

Nah, Rogue hero will be a Tauren

Honestly I think the RNG of getting 2 Innervate , a coin AND Yogg at the same time is FAR more impressive than yogg doing 2 damage of AoE. As a card game, RNG runs in Hearthstones veins right trough card draw.

I find Dreadsteed to be hilariously OP in this fight. He can act as a Board Clear on the left or Infinte Taunt on the right.

This is 5 times worse than the old Warsong Commander. Please No...

i have only once reached ranked 10, and stayed there, my average arena run is 1-3 or 2-3, having only reached 4-3 once, I put Sneed's Old Shredder and/or Foe Reaper 4000on most of my decks and play 80% of my games on casual (with gimmick decks only)

What?
1.If it costs 10 mana its not free
2. It takes you 5 turns to get 10 damage out
3. By your logic, Arcanite Reaper is a Pyroblast for 5 and Fiery War Axe is a Fireball for 2

Mogu'shan Warden just seems much better for that, or Deathlord when playing Wild
