They aren't going to release an entire track of rewards that is only available for 4 days or however long it is. It clearly includes packs and rewards that are related to the upcoming expansion.
Maybe it's my legal training that makes me not fully trust what is "clearly" assumable when opposed to what is documented. I know Blizzard is a company that has never made a mistake, so I guess I should be more trusting.
Too snarky? I'm not meaning to fight. I think you are right that they mean the 2021 expansion. I just want Blizzard to express it more clearly, and I am asking if they did clarify outside of the game since the message inside the game expresses the opposite on its face.
Within the Rewards Track view in game, it says the progression "Resets Next Expansion." Does this mean that the track will reset us on November 17, or is this a special case where they launched the track early and the reset will take place whenever the first 2021 expansion is launched?
Did Blizzard clarify this anywhere?
Sorry if this has been asked and answered. I could not find it in another thread.
I doubt this is a bug. With the new rewards system coming, I think they do not want people farming experience with smurf accounts. Still, it stinks that they couldn't wait to implement this until the new system rolls out officially.
I am hopeful that the new system will fix my need to complete dailies with friends. The only reason I did that is because I do not always have a chance to play competitive games during the week and just need to clear a quest quickly to get me to the weekend.
My understanding of the new system is that quests will be weekly, and you can always make up your progress by playing later in the season if you miss any number of days. It might end up being better than min/maxing my daily quests. I'll remain optimistic for now.

Do you have a link to a quote from Blizzard?
