This just asks to be played with Frost Nova so that the enemy would have to use hard removal on this. And people could bluff with it, so that the hard removal won't hit their C'Thun. Cool. Also can pull Deathwing or Sea Giant, the latter might end up being free.
It's really hard to even start the brawl as a freshman. I've got lucky on NA servers to pull a FoN and Nourish, but still I had to stuff every possible card into the brawl deck, even Moonfires, to have a chance to start the brawl. Druid was the only class I managed to assemble a deck for this brawl. Did a win eventually, whew.
This card is by no means should be dropped on curve. You use this with Blessing of Might, Lance Carrier or freaking Seal of Champions, hello 8/8 or better next turn. And if it won't be removed, hello 16/8. IMHO slow, vulnerable to too many cheap removals, but has a great combo potential. Kind of a self-growing Gahz'rilla for one less mana, one less HP and 2 more turns to accelerate.
Still probably won't see play. Even if meta would go to control, that would mean enough removals for everything, and this is at best a 8/8 in two turns, or a two-card play that just asks you to 2-for-1 it.
I get why it would make sense for the single player but deck stacking in multiplayer without telling the players seems wrong. I think most people would assume decks are shuffled as randomly as possible. Makes me wonder if they stack the odds on other cards and effects to make them more balanced in the standard game in addition to this brawl.
"More balanced"? Sure they do stack decks in standard modes, sometimes to make you lose whatever you do. And, it's pretty much confirmed by too many people already.
A fatigue warrior tool, if he hadn't enough of them. This extra 2 face per turn can win some games. Also some fuel for warriors that run Orgrimmar Aspirant. Otherwise, I'd better play Arathi Weaponsmith.
Turn 2 this, turn 5 Emperor Thaurissan, turn 7 double FoN+SR combo? :D Good thing it'll be nerfed before this hits the battlefield.
The card is SO random, I don't have words for its randomness. You can get mage with Antonidas+frost combo right off the bat, and lethal out of the blue. Or you can get your hand and deck full of Humility or Savagery.
Actually incorrect - "N'Zoth will raise silenced Deathrattle minions, but not cards that were buffed with Deathrattle or transformed. (Source)
I smell wrong interpretation of "transformed" - this word has two meanings in Hearthstone, one is Polymorph, Hex, Tinkmaster Overspark's battlecry, the other is faceless. If your deathrattle card was sheeped or frogged, N'Zoth won't rez it, because there's a sheep or frog that died, not a card with native deathrattle. While when a transformed Faceless Manipulator dies, it's no longer a dead faceless, it's a dead Sylvanas, Cairne or Tirion, these are eligible for rezzing, and will be rezzed by N'Zoth.
OMG, just imagine your Darnassus Aspirant coming back... this will make Ramp Druid even more OP.
rofl
Darnassus Aspirant doesn't hurt druid past t10, it's just a 2/3, because even if he dies, the next turn the druid's mana will be back up to 10. Two of them dying at once will hurt, but only down to 9 - IMHO not a big deal.
Might be a stupid question but if I play Faceless Manipulator on a minion with Deathrattle... WIll I be able to resummon that minion twice?
Yes, if that minion was eligible for rezzing with N'Zoth already. Say, if you faceless a Sylvanas and get it killed, when you play N'Zoth you'll get a (extra) Sylvanas because it had died this game. It works because Faceless Manipulator is a transform effect minion, and if the result has native deathrattle, it's eligible for N'Zoth.
Any word on Dreadsteed interaction? Will it summon all of them that died? If so that would be very very cool.
Yes, up to 6, because you won't have more space on board, but if you played/summoned other deathrattle minions, you could get some of them instead of Dreadsteeds.
I just won a battle in Evil Exchange brawl as Rafaam, vs a smart opponent. He did only one mistake - he dropped Gluth, that summoned a Mana Wraith. Whacked that wraith, assembled the staff and finally summoned Ysera after clearing his board.

On the negative side of spectrum already. Not as disappointed to say straight, but less than "doesn't change a thing for me".
