I really don't get why all you guys act like 6 hours is a lot. I have a social life, school, charity work, a job, going to the gym and I still get a few hours of gameplay daily.
I just played a guy who was playing Warlock using Mortal Coil and the Wisp. All he did was drop Wisps, kill them, and draw cards. He didn't attack once, and just kept spamming the threaten emote. Weird, right? Anyone have any idea why someone would even bother doing that? I mean, it was a free win and all, and it helped me complete a Win 5 Brawls quest, but it was a baffling experience.
He probably had both Meek and Spell master quests to do. These are the ost tedious to complete normal way, so people who got them just play similar decks in this brawl to shrug them off.
Fucking bullshit that 1 person can be so unlucky with perfect counter decks, I was able to laugh my way through most of it, but honestly, those two mill decks were just the ultimate fuck you.
Yep, sometimes you are screwed by "RNG" matchmaking, up to an entire day of hard counters. MM is random, they say. *sarcastic and sad* Whenever I encounter at least 3 hard counters in a row, I drop HS for a day, this makes me and my neighbors safer.
I didn't see unleash the hounds and scavenging hyena. Kill any of the hyenas and the others get buffer. summon minions and he'll suicide his hounds into them. I dunno if it's op but was hard to beat with any of my mage removal decks,.
Doomsayer plus reach pretty much secures you from minion spam. Also hyenas are slower than mechs, and since Unleash the Hounds is a hunter card, mech leaper combo is prevalent.
Armorsmith and Ravaging Ghoul - one of those not yet mentioned combos in here. Sadly, gets ruined by a ton, including innervate+fatty, mill, flamewaker etc. But boy it's fun when it launches... hard counters mind blast priests at the very least, they mindblast, you slap a ghoul for 25 armor XD got a priest concede after seeing this. Also hard counters living roots+savage roar.
In fact, this is the rock-paper-scissors brawl as I read it here, mill counters iceblock, iceblock counters mech, mech counters mill, rest are funny related to these three, occasionally forming a lizard-Spock pair to these. Cool!
This seems to be another day when RNG is tweaked against me. 10 battles as mage, 1 Mana Wyrm t1, but SEVEN hero powers t2. Not a single Blackwing Technician, but always a Blackwing Corruptor sitting in the open hand, mulliganed in or drawn t1. Thanks. Did three wins though with that, went C'Thun druid onward. Sure, full scale of power is never reached, I'm not even speaking about them Twin Emperor Vek'lors that I don't plain have, but not a single Klaxxi Amber-Weaver in playable range (not even after 10 turns), stuck with Doomcaller all the time, etc. The final straw was an expanding game where I managed to play Klaxxi t4 (instant Polymorph), Elise Starseeker t6, map t8 and finally even a 18/18 C'Thun, wiping his both twin emperors - only to face Yogg-Saron, Hope's End which plays the following:
Golden Doomsayer. In fact, he's my only DE that I regret somehow, I didn't get any back since that time. But back there I needed dust as I was about 10 packs into the game altogether, so I put his corpse into 10 staple commons to craft me a semi-viable laddering (as in taking off rank 20) and adventuring deck.
I encountered a bug with pyro today that seriously doesn't make sense. I had a C'thun who had been previously peacekeepered, then buffed a few times due to some minions. Then my opponent played pyro+equality. It wiped my board (as expected) but for no reason at all, my C'thun survived. The equality put him at one, but the pyro damage didn't kill him. This is CERTAINLY not intended and needs to be fixed (although I was pretty grateful for it when it happened lol).
You probably had Crazed Worshipper on board, that first got hit by Equality along with C'Thun, then buffed C'Thun by +1/+1 when taking damage from pyro, so C'Thun remained alive with 1 HP and a plus one to attack.

If Yogg-Saron, Hope's End casts a spell with overload, you do not overload. Otherwise, great combo.

Somebody actually did. It ended up with 40 spells cast, Blizzard apparently hardcapped Yogg-Saron to not throw too many spells.

Dunno, but seeing this topic I made me a control priest, Mass Dispel works wonders.

NO, just NO. Imagine Unleash the Hounds into Savage Roar. Force savage druids would be ashamed of the power.

Well, Blizzard means to freeze those monsters that are hit by it, there was no imp when Blizzard hits first, so that imp shouldn't be frozen IMHO.

Weird combos seen in my few matches in the brawl: Flametongue Totem and Bloodlust, Midnight Drake and Deathwing (super slow I know, but still fun), Vitality Totem and Evolve.

- Polymorph my C'Thun
- Hex my Klaxxi Amber-Weaver played the turn before
- Confuse - not even leaving me a taunt
- Mark of Y'Shaarj on self into a 9/7
- some Mage secret, unpopped, expecting Ice Block
- something irrelevant.
Yay.
Yep, did play Golden Monkey next turn to see twin emperors but no mana to play them, of course got killed next turn.
