So, I haven't played in 4 months, and would very much like to receive a free deck when the new expansion hits. However, I've noticed that the decklists are still old, back from a few metas ago, with some of the cards that are about to rotate out, and they still haven't updated anything.
you'll end up with a 3 or 4 star bonus instead of a 10 star bonus. (after the month you didn't play).
This is of course false. At worst your bonus will go from 10 to 9 in a single month. And only if you lose a lot of games and end up with a negative winrate also.
Core set card are temporary. Every year they rotate, so once the next rotation happens chances are you won't have that King Krush anymore. Meanwhile Legacy set (old Classic and Basic) card are yours to keep forever.
Also, you can't use Core set cards in Classic mode. So if you wanted to play Hunter in Classic with King Krush, you need to own it. As well if you want to use it in Wild, after it gets rotated out of the Core set next year, you need to own it if you still want to keep using it.
Sounds cool, to make some of these cards which never saw any actual play, finally maybe be played for the very first time since they were made. But it wouldn't work in Wild. Even if you buff a Stoneskin Gargoyle to a 2/4 it would still make no difference and the card would still see no play, the power level in Wild is too high, which would make this entire thing completely pointless. It could work in Classic tough, where old cards that have no chance of being played yet again are changed into at least a playable version, but people would be against that, since they want Classic to be exactly how it used to be back then. So maybe in some special alternate history version of Classic. Ultimately though, it would serve very little purpose.

Perhaps we could get an article on the front page, comparing the dust value etc.?

The last update we've had was on December 1st, with the expansion launching on December 7th

Now we're few days away from the new expansion and still no news.
Does anyone know if they're planning on updating those decklists at all?

What about the free decks for new and returning players?
Do we know when those will be updated?

You best be going with Alliance when the choice comes.
Unless you don't want that diamond card.

From one dying game to the other.
They're really getting desperate now.

No, you won't lose anything.
You'd have to stop playing for a long time for your star bonus to drop by 1.
This is of course false. At worst your bonus will go from 10 to 9 in a single month.
And only if you lose a lot of games and end up with a negative winrate also.

They wrote all this irrelevant shit nobody cares about and they didn't mention the most important thing.
Will there be free packs? Which ones, and how many?
That's all the information that needs to be given, anything else is not important.

How about no?

You play Goody two Shields and Blessing of Kings in your Secret Paladin??
