DropDeadCynical posted a message on Pack Bundle Promotion: Back to the Wild!Posted in: NewsWild is so powerful that only a few very specific cards from each expansion are playable anymore.
You have a very weird idea about how the majority of players engage with Hearthstone. You really think that the Wild cards that Vicious Syndicate tells you are in Tier 1 and 2 decks are the only ones that people ever use?

EmoGit posted a message on Stealth nerf to multiclass cards and their interaction with Tess/UnderbellyPosted in: Wild FormatWhat the hell... The Lotus Agents giving my cutlass an extra charge interaction was one of my favourite, why the actual hell would they even touch that. There are so many unfair interactions in HS, Big Priest is built on absolutely idiotic interactions and tehy decide this one is grievous enough to nerf. Absolute morons.

Malhavoc posted a message on Stealth nerf to multiclass cards and their interaction with Tess/UnderbellyPosted in: Wild FormatI used to play a Jade/Burgle deck since last month, and despite it being not OP at all, it was really fun. With the new set I had great hopes in cards like Vendetta and Underbelly Fence, and they were indeed powerful since they were active since turn 1 if you had Lotus cards like Jade Spirit already in hand. Just for reference, this is the list I was running:
https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1251539-jade-cutlass-thief-guide
With the new cards the deck was pretty good, almost to the point of being a Tier 2/3 even..
But overnight, Blizzard went for a stealth nerf, and now Lotus cards no longer activates cards like Spectral Cutlass, Vendetta, Underbelly Fence or Tess.. which destroyed a perfectly fair deck. Good job Blizzards, and thanks for caring about a Wild Underdog deck instead of caring about OP Big Priest which now refill the whole board with a Diamon Spellstone + Vargoth combo. That's fair and needs no nerf at all indeed.
Sorry for the bitter words, but I see no reason to axe a fair deck with a subtle stealth nerf like this.. probably it was becuase of Arena, but still how many were the chances to get an unfair deck with the arena draft just because of this? Jade cards in arena are pretty weak anyway..
I'm definitely displeased by this, it kills the joy of a nice interaction which was no bug at all, since it worked like this since forever..

Just wait a couple of days till the new expansion comes out and give your deck a try.Don't listen to anyone tell you what is going and not going to work, since its just speculations.Yes the power level is high but even budget decks can get you to legend, like mech hunter for example, plus wild mode is "cheaper" than standard since you only need a few cards from every expansion to maintain your decks.
Most important, play the decks that you like and have fun

What's that got to do with basic/classic cards?
