Because Eco minions were more or less all garbage, adapt minions few of them were broken and they are still played in wild. See Gentle Megasaur in wild murloc pala and Crackling Razormaw for hunter. If the cards are broken people will play it. So it is not true what are you saying.
High power level is a good, but in time, they will arise broken decks and everything will become so boring. So power level is good, but when power level is too high, it Is not so good.
Brann + illucia does nothing, pretty much the same thing as Brann + Grizzled Wizard

Mindrender Illucia also beats aggro. you cast a board clear and you use Mindrender Illucia. Since you are control you will force your opponent in passing a turn, considering your hand full of board clears.
Mindrender Illucia could also be a win condition by itself in wild, depending on its interaction with Bran. If it is as I think. So, Swap two times due to Bran (so you will take your hand and deck), next turn you take its deck and hand, forever.
Blizz told that Quest mage is gonna get nerfed again, so that would a realy bad choise Supreme Archaeology is fine, though

We don't know if Blizzard will nerf Open the Waygate, Sorcerer's Apprentice or Flamewaker. In my opinion, Blizzard will nerf Sorcerer and/or Flamewaker (both are broken), will not nerf the quest again. SO the quest will still be very very good in his Reno version.
It is not fair when Blizzard gives free stuff to people that left the game and nothing to faithful people. I feel like leaving the game immediately out of spite.
Loyalty should be remunerated, but Blizzard prefers to pay the opposite because too many people are stopping playing. Well fuck Blizzard, make a better game if you don't want people to leave instead of remunerate them.
