Having a reliable Vanndar Stormpike tutor is going to be very powerful. Currently whenever you can hit Vandar on turn 4, you automatically play with handicap. And after playing Vandar Abyssal Depths is reliable way to tutor discounted minions. I'm almost sure that this costed 3 mana in early development stage and they nerfed it to 4 mana after play testing, as they found this on turn 3 and Vandar on 4 too oppressive. People are currently sleeping on this card.
We will have some fine Nature spells between new Core Set and the rest of Shaman new expansion cards. Speaking of, lately revealed Radiance of Azshara definitely also make the list
After seeing the new Queen Azshara I come up with the idea of building a Shaman deck around a midrange Spells / Battlecry support. So far I come up with those cards:
The deck still lack spells, mostly Neutral and Arcane to make the most of Coral Keeper and Multicaster but we are yet to learn what the new Core Set will bring, defo there will be some nice 2-3 Neutral spells to add to the list. The idea behind the deck is to make the most of the few powerful battlecries, like the ones from Queen Azshara, Ambassador Faelin and Coral Keeper, and repeat them with Bolner Hammerbeak and Brilliant Macaw
The ranked spells are indeed based on the mercenaries, so druid get a tauren mercenary. (BTW you forgot the warlock mercenary comparison ;))
I was thinking about including warlock legendary but the character on warlock's rank spells looks a bit different to warlock legendary so I wasn't sure
Hi guys, just wanted to share with you the thing I noticed about Rank spells from Forged in th Barrens. To me it looks like the new Rank Spell match (in effect and flavour) to one of the class Legendary, look: Flurry - Varden Downgrasp Tame Beast - Tavish Stormpike Chain Lightning - Bru'kan
Base on above, looking at other Rank spells i believe that eg. based on Condemn priest legendary will be Xyrella, and druid, based on Living Seed will get a tauren legendary card.
What do you think? Or did Blizzard already revealed that Rank spells relates to legendaries?
I'm having a blast with Highlander Druid lately (the one that Dekkster has come up with https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1378431-highlander-druid). Don't have stats, but I easily made it from P5 to D5 last season and currently I'm almost back in D10 with it. Elize generates ton of value at times, Y'Shaarj package also feels good even though there are only 3 Corrupt cards.

You haven't played sinken ship (it was aut casted when drawn) therefore Edwin's chain got broken

Dredge put the card on top of your deck, it doesn't draw the card

After seeing the new Queen Azshara I come up with the idea of building a Shaman deck around a midrange Spells / Battlecry support. So far I come up with those cards:
Spells:
Windchill
Scalding Geyser
Minions:
Queen Azshara
Ambassador Faelin
Sir Finley Sea Guide
Bolner Hammerbeak
Sleetbreaker
Brilliant Macaw
Coral Keeper
Snowfall Guardian
Multicaster
Possible addition:
Amalgam of the Deep
Pandaren Importer
Venomous Scorpid
The deck still lack spells, mostly Neutral and Arcane to make the most of Coral Keeper and Multicaster but we are yet to learn what the new Core Set will bring, defo there will be some nice 2-3 Neutral spells to add to the list. What do you think guys? What would you add / cut?

Never been a fan of DH, but I'm gonna try the deathrattle deck with N'Zoth. Next would be Spell Priest with the new Malygos.

It means that bits from both basic and classic will be included in the Core Set
