First time poster, long time reader - so many people crying how this deck is no good in Diamond...so, the author made Legend on it. This tells me you just don't really want to learn how it plays...also, this player spent a lot of time writing up how it works, so if you don't enjoy the deck, just go play something else. I really appreciate the analysis and time spent documenting the play.
First of all, this is a fun deck to play. Your opponents don't really know what's up because they expect the bland old Tempo Demon Hunter. And this deck makes you think a bit more about how to get over on those other bland old Rogues/Priests infiltrating Diamond like a bad disease.
Last month, I played Hunter of various types and hung out in Diamond 5 to 3. Boring. Didn't get much farther, but I really wanted Golden Hunter so I just endured it. So I played this a bit and after the learning curve, it's done quite well.
Obviously, if you play it correctly, you CAN succeed against the bland flavors of ladder players of Rogue - Priest, Rinse, Repeat. If you can't play it correctly, you'll just come on here and bitch about it. Which is really funny.
