Maybe just the "Reward" animation was missing? That happens from time to time. Your chest is open so you should have it. Check it out under the "Heroes" tab in your collection. If it is not there, I would suggest writing a ticket to Blizzard, should be somewhere in the Battle.net client.

No, but there is a difference between:

"Time Warp is an overpowered card because it allows for a game-winning combo, with flexible combo pieces, very early into the game"

So where is the compensation for the bug? In the past, players affected by bugs would be given a compensation. Gifting all players a 100 Gold or Dust, or a card pack wouldn't hurt Blizzard at all, quite the opposite:

Free-to-Play titles LIVE from this kind of freebies, you want to give your customers the feeling that the game is a fair deal so spending some money on it is fine!

When Riot Games decided to re-release all special edition skins, they gave everyone who purchased these skins as limited edition their Riot Points back, so I suddenly had 60.000 RP on Login. This was over 6 years ago I think and LoL is still kicking.

That should be proof enough what Blizzard actually could do! Freebies are a win-win situation for both the customers and the company, so pls give more!

Thing is, everyone who played the game for more than half a year should be full rare collection anyways, so for most people getting dupes out of their chest didn't matter anyways.

It sucks for new players though, who expected a significant collection size boost, from their much harder earned chest.

I got 7+ Sludge Slurper, but I already own every rare card so I didn't worry too much about it. However, there are some rare cards where I actually only own one normal and one golden. I think Sludge Slurper was one of them, and this explains why so many people got the same card multiple times. It does give you a card that you don't own, but every loot box will give you this card, they all check on the same thing and give you that.

As for an epic, I got Big Bad Archmage, which I didn't own.

I don't think Secret Mage is truly Top Tier. It's just super cheap, but it can be counterplayed so easily. You just have to outtempo them hard on board, so they have to spent their ressources on your board and not your face. Only Mad Scientiest has a Deathrattle, the 5/5s are just plain stats, you can handle that. Then they will kill themselves via fatigue. Never spent ressources on their face, dedicate everything on staying alive.

Now Quest Mage still has pretty toxic spikes, but the nerf did slow down the deck a lot. I honestly think their winrate is artificially higher right now. People jst concede after they see an early hand-filling cyclon, unable to realize that their opponent's hand actually only constist of unplayable random high-cost spells.

They concede when they see Quest finish, unable to see that their opponent has no giants in hand.

Just give the nerfs a bit more time. WIld is slow thinking.

Though I wouldn't mind if they push Waygate to 10 Spells. However, the better way to balance things in Wild, imho, is buff old cards. Wild will always have decks with very powerful, unfair things, so the better way to balance things is to just increase deck variety until no one notices anymore. I think the last set of buffs was very succesful, Renp Priest is back and strong and no one complains, Odd Warrior is back and strong, and no one complains, etc. Also the Year of the Dragon Highlander support was the best thing they ever did for the Wild format, as it created more than a dozen new deck archetypes ad hoc.

The Quest support cards were strong, but aside from Awaken the Makers (and Rogue) no Quest has been toxic for the Wild format, and with the new support, most are now sleeper decks waiting to become comepetitive, so overall I think these cards were very healthy for the format.

You're playing wild. What do you expect?

Not one class dominating the format, that is not healthy. Remember they have nerfed Wild cards in the past in similar situations:

Tbh, the only deck which could rival the current mage decks were the SA-druid. The others were much weaker but frustrating to play against.

They nerfed cards because all the wild players kept crying about it. In reality it is just a for fun mode that Blizzard barely wants to cater to until the wild community starts spamming their twitter and reddit crying about it.

Wild has a huge communitiy in China, it is like 100 times larger than the western one. Their total number is high enough to make a lot of cash, that's why WIld got the ingame shop support and more balance changes recently.

I am currently Diamond 3 and have hit Legend in the past frequently.

The two Fireballs in hand, missed lethal isn't from me though, it is from Roffles stream.

The meta at legend in Wild is mostly slower because half of the players stops caring after hitting legend, instead they play more fun, off-meta decks.

    2020:

A vanilla stat 3 drop with no immediate impact on the board, with no immediate impact at all to be precise, is believed to be breaking the game.

By increasing it's cost, BLA will become unplayable. You just don't pay 4 Mana for a 4/3 with no impact on the board or card generation/draw for you.

"If you are really only interested in winning games, you should take Albatross out of your deck"

This is basically Blizard telling their community that they.... well I have to put this mildly...Well basically it is Blizzard telling their fans that they lack intellect.

It is them saying we only nerf the card because you cry so much, but it is actually completly fine and you all just have no idea about the game. People only use the card because it is cheap and feels good. Not because it is actually good.

And to be honest...Well the content is harsh, even though formulated politically correct. But basically, they are right. People just have no idea how to play this game. I've seen Aggro decks wasting their ressources on the enemy's board until the late game. I have seen people miss lethal when they had two Fireballs in hand and I was at 12 Health. I've seen people conceding against me even though they were winning the game...

I think many people actually need to ask themselves, "Is it really the game that is unbalanced, or am I just bad?". And I think in the majority of cases, it is the latter.

what you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Cool, but you know, if you attack someone, it is better to have actual arguments. Because the one who is actually rambling here is you.

It's very easy to call someone irrational, incoherent or even insanely idiotic, but if you can't prove it, you are actually the one where these terms become applicable.

All in all it's better than nothing I guess but I would have made Kael's effect that your third spell played each turn costs 0. Also I think it's pretty obvious that Time Warp was the problem, not Open the Waygate.

Time Warp itself can't be fixed. The alternative would be to remove the card altogether and replace it with another.

But I honestly think Time Warp is fine. Wild is supposed to be busted, after all. However, Time Warp anywhere before  or at Turn 6 is broken and should not be allowed.

These seem very tame, atleast the battlefiend nerf is significant. Waygate nerf on the face of it seems useless.

DH got a buff with sac pact nerf overall...heavy midrange demonhunter will be a thing now for sure..I guess that could be fun.

It is not useless, it just hits the wrong deck. There were two versions of Quest Mage:

    1. Combo, this is the oppresive deck that plays Waygate on curve alongside 4 8/8 Giants, GG

    2. Control, this Highlander Deck was more of a grinder style deck. You controlled the game, only slowly progressing your quest via Zephrys and Kazakus and stuff, then when you are in a favorable position, you play Vargoth+Time Warp and 2 Giants. This deck took much longer to complete the Quest, so long that some classes (Druid) could even survive the two extra turns, while others (Darkest Hour Warlock) just won before you. It was also a very strong deck but nowwhere near as broken as Quest Mage.

Quest Mage can still complete the Quest just easily, but for Reno Quest Mage, +2 Spells are a lot as the deck can't build a big cyclone.

    Quote from KnivesOut >>

Can’t please them all. Do you know what the highest win rate deck in wild is? Tempo Demon Hunter.

No, it is just the most played deck, Don't take HSreplay stats for granted when it comes to Wild, the number of games is too low for accurate stats. I don't think any of the true Top Tier decks (Quest Mage, Reno Quest Mage, Darkest Hour Warlock, Jade Druid, Reno Priest) has any difficulties with DH. They just burn away their ressources, then lose, but there are also many players at lower ranks that just insta-concede vs DH because they are just Standard swapovers and are frustrated.

Also, you were looking at Standard stats anyways.

Edit: Most DH decks on HSreplay for Wild are just Blizzard Standard lists anyways, you can assume that their wins are exclusively on the lower ranks. You can't play on high level Wild with a Blizzard Standard list.

posted a message on Wild has 9 Classes and Standard has 10

This is bugging me. I am a Wild player.

I knew that with its limited card pool, DH would be in a tough spot in Wild. That didn't stop me from preordering the expansion (both bundles).

And surprisingly, DH did just fine on release day in Wild. If something is "just fine" on release day in Wild, then that is too much for Standard, so it was clear that nerfs would happen.

Still the DH didn't die out completly. But with a further set of nerfs, the class will certainly die. And that's sad. Hearthstone has two formats, Standard and Wild. But Wild players, like me, now have two wait four more months (quarantined due to Corona) before they can have fun with Hearthstone's 10th class again.

Could this be fixed? Yes! Just release 2-4 Hall of Fame Demon Hunter Cards to help the class stand their ground in the Wild Environment. Make them really busted so that Standard players wouldn't want to play these anyways. Really busted is "just fine" in Wild btw.
