If you finish your quest every time, it's not too difficult to get 100 gold daily in total, that way you can get each chapter of an adventure within the span of time between chapters.

And if that's too difficult, quests are at bare minimum 50 gold, and the adventure gets released over 28 days, so thats 1400 gold while the adventure is being released, the other 1400 you'd have to grind yourself, which would take another 28 days. So 56 days if you don't win any games or get any quests above 50 gold

That's 2 months, aka half the time of a single expansion being live (assuming the regular 4 months between expansions).

It's not that difficult. Galakronds awakening came out january 21st. Ashes of outland came out april 7. If you saved like, less than half of the gold in between those releases you'd have the whole thing by now.

Adventures are a lot better for f2p players than expansions because of the certainty. 2800 gold nets you 2 legendaries in this case. 28 packs would on average get you 1 or 1,5, but 0 if you're really unlucky.

100 gold daily would mean 50 gold for wins which is 15 wins. That on average means 30 games (25 to 35 probably) which will take 250-350 minutes which is 4-6 hours of playing Hearthstone daily. I'd say that's difficult for most people.

4-6 hours of grinding hearthstone for a $2 pack ... I admire your grit but your time should be worth more than that.

I could also grind working minimum wage for 4-6 hours during that time instead and get 50+ packs.

Time = money is probably the most flawed argument that one can come up with. Time =/= money unless you would earn money from investing your time. If I sit down and jerk off for half an hour how much money did I just lose? How much money did you lose today while prepping that 5$ meal? Did you lost more than 5$ worth of time from doing so or did you lose money?

Pornhub or whatever you use makes money while you jerk off.

posted a message on [Wild] Rant about the supposed state of the meta
    Quote from Fpw0 >>

"When a deck reaches a 60% winrate, it is a meta deck", i don't fully agree with that statement, a deck is meta if it is played enough. When almost nobody expect that your deck is played it is a off-meta deck. Some off-meta (not meme deck) can perform well when played by a good player. I think for example of OTK-paladin (with DK-Uther), Odd Shaman, Togg Priest, Quest Rogue.

The metagame is also linked to your MMR and your server, with a High MMR you see less diversity, and it reduces the number of decks you consider that can be played against you. Some players consider 1/4 of your list off-meta. But i can confirm there is some class diversity.

I have also a question what do you mean by Combo* Rogue ? A rogue with a OTK combo like Malygos ?

I think you miss a few decks that are played like Kingsbane, Mill rogue (I was surprise to see 3 of them I am 300-1000 legend, I think it is only played because people like the deck), Evenlock (but maybe it is off-meta i played few game with success), Reno Shaman.

These decks only perform well because streamers actually only upload wins on YouTube.

If you watch their streams on twitch, you see that they lose 80% of the time when playing DK Combo Paladin or something like that for extended periods of time.

Yes sometimes they get streaks, often with Aggro decks like Odd Shaman, but that comes often down to being lucky with favorable match-ups.

posted a message on 17.2.2 Client Patch - In-Game Shop Opens Again & Bug Fixes

This Community is the worst in the world.

So there is a hot fix for some bugs and you complain??????? That's incredibly dumb.

Bug fixes are done by different people than game balancing.

posted a message on Neutral Charge Minions

Honestly which Neutral charge minion other than Stonetusk Boar has ever caused any problems? Even Stonetusk Boar was never really problematic until recently. Most of its interactions were meme level.

No one can claim Leeroy is broken as long as Fireball exists.

And Stonetusk Boar is op, you only pay half a Mana for charge, instead of 1 Mana which is the custom on the other good charge minions.

But I bet most people can't even properly list all neutral charge minions without looking up.

This is the saltiest thread I have seen in quite some time. Wild is pretty balanced, you need to stop wasting time complaining. If you hate Priest, play Quest Mage or  Mecha'thun Warlock, if you hate Quest Mage play Demon Hunter and so on. If you hate everything then don't play.

     Hahahaha “wild is pretty balanced”

Oblivious and condescending just as expected from this community. Go back to playing your face deck

Pretty much all big Wild streamers think the format is in a much better spot than a bit over a year ago.

Wild is better now than it was even a short time ago when Snip Snap Warlock was utterly disgusting.

I hit legend this month using Murloc Paladin.  I was pretty sick of all the OP crap I saw out there - Priest, DH and Mage in particular - but I sort of accept it's inevitable in Wild.

At a certain point this game is going to need a complete reboot. Wild is just the ultimate dumping ground. Too many cards, too many insane interactions. You can't fix it.

I'd prefer Hearthstone 2.0, where they start over again with a completely different set of basic and classic cards for each class.

Lol no pls not. I have spent a considerable amount of money on this game. If they just reboot it, that would be the biggest fuck you to all customers.

posted a message on Push Big Spell Mage to balance Quest Mage!

Blizzard really needs to push Big Spell Mage for two expansions or so.

That would really be healthy for the game. Problem is, Mages spell pool is so cheap that via the help of Sorcerer's Apprentice they can play them out immediately, completing Open the Waygate fast and also emptying the hand again, allowing you to refill it with even more random spells.

Now if some of these spells would actually be clutz that you can't play out immediately and that takes up hand space, that would really slow Quest Mage down to a healthy level.

And Big Spell Mage is kinda cool. Wild Reno has Zolia and I don't think it was ever a thing in Standard.

Mage's current big spells are all over costed or just bad.

The thing is all the people wanting to nerf the current wild meta decks into oblivion miss on how many sleeper cards there are in Wild. If you replace the current "broken" stuff, other broken stuff will follow soon after.

Clever buffs are way better to balance Wild in the long run. Buff certain cards whenever a class starts to lack the tools to compete.

I think the current Wild Meta isn't the best but it is far from the worst. Demon Hunter just feels dull, the class is perfectly fine in Wild and possibly even weak after the new nerfs but it feels really dull. It looks flashy but plays out like a GvG curvestone deck.

Primes are also just moderately powerful, all in all this expansion is kinda weak which is weird considering how much it needed to be nerfed for Standard. It is definitely the weakest expansion since the Grand Tournament.

You play off-meta decks against meta decks. You shouldn't complain.

I am sorry but balance does not mean that anything is equally powerful.

If you want to win, play meta decks.

Chaos Nova one of the best AoEs in the game?

As a Wild player I can only laugh at that.

Really how low is the power level in Standard that the complaining will never stop?

posted a message on 17.2.1 Patch Notes

Sad day for Wild players again.

There is one Wild Demonhunter deck with actually very decent winrates but it is also a very dull deck (Odd DH).

The class is way too boring to play for long enough in Wild already.

After the nerfs it will also be super weak. The Outrunner nerf is super hard.

Just how low is the power level in standard that something needs to be nerfed so many times??

    Definitely the worst expansion ever.

posted a message on Invoke gave me Invoke

They should honestly make Invoke cards act like any other normal card, I don't get why they do this.

They didn't do this with the C'thun cards either and no one complained.

There are highrolls in RNG, and lowrolls, and if you get a Galakrond card in a non-Galakrond deck, well that's a lowroll but aside from the 4 Mana 2/2 Rush, nothing would even be that terrible.

posted a message on King Bagurgle and Gentle Megasaur are killing this mode

I think this would proberly tackle Megasaur:

Replace it with an original card:

"Gentle Turtoise" Tier 6 5/4 Beast

Battlecry: Give your Murlocs Taunt, Windfury Divine Shield, or Poisonous (chosen randomly).

Golden version gives two randomly chosen keywords.

Works like Enhance-O-Mechano, it gives every Murloc you have one of those four Keywords, chosen randomly.

That way getting the incredibly powerful divine shield is more inconsistent and it is very hard to get it on all Murlocs.

Taunt might land on the lowest health Murloc and Poisonous on the highest attack one, you might get Windfuries despite the minion health not supporting it yet, etc.

The card could maybe then be even T5 actually.

As I said, I would basically replace all current Murloc cards with new ones.

Regular Hearthstone cards can only be balanced by being moved up or down tiers. As such they are very limited in design space.

Original Battlegrounds cards can also have their stats and text altered. That makes balancing the game much easier.

On top of that, Murlocs are kinds dull, you can have any of them and just buff them up, the reward for having Warleader or Murk-Eye is quite little compared to the reward you get for choosing the right ability minions in the other tribes.

I would definitely shift them away from battlecries and more towards abilities like the other tribes. This lead to more different choices and more different strategies rather than just a reward for being lucky to get Bran.
