Currently in rank 4, most of the time its a reload engine in the late game that draws around 4 to 6 cards, which is pretty good for the mana cost/stats. And the vendors add even more synergy to the theme, so I guess you cant go wrong with it.
Deck is tier 1 sure, but maybe bottom tier 1 because the lists now are still optimizing.
Don't be fooled, the Control Warrior MU is very good for the Shaman, as CW can only use a limited number of removals against the hordes of lackeys. You will need Barista Lynchen and value up your Bog Slosher. It also does good against Murloc Paladin and Murloc Shaman decks.
You can also swap one Giggling Inventor for a Walking Fountain to raise your % against other aggro decks that burst from hand such as Rogue.
Bad MUs are Combo Priest, Mage and sometimes Highlander Hunter if you dont play focused around secrets or Quest Druid if they get lucky with King Phaoris.
I think Zephrys the Great has indeed brought a "greater" RNG based meta, with most of the decks being one card copy, it is now almost impossible to guess correctly what techs are in or how to play around cards.
Luna's Pocket Galaxy from 5 to 7 mana (Original card) Will probably go back to seeing next to no play. At 7 mana it's just too late against anything not a control deck and a dead card otherwise
Agree. This is the hardest nerf and makes the current Mage decks a lot weaker. The card wont see play and with it, the archetype is dead. Mage will want to fully embrace Aggro/Secret decks.
Dr. Boom from 7 to 9 mana I think it will alleviate some issues but ultimately this does nothing to curb the warriors ability to just RNG infinite removal which to me was the most annoying thing about facing this card, win or lose.
Agree. Control Warrior is one of the few aggro gatekeepers left in the game. Blizzard knows this and thats why they didnt touch the hero power buttons. Some other good nerfs would've been sending Brawl to Hall of Fame or increasing the cost of Warpath by 1. With this change, the deck becomes weaker but in the end it doesn't lose any tools to deal with big boards.
Conjurers Calling from 3 to 4 mana Hard to say what this will do. It does put off early giant pressure in some cases. Most of my experience with this card both playing and facing is that it got played late game anyway.
Disagree. The nerf weakens the ability to regain board presence and now in most cases Mages will have to play Khadgar with Conjurer's Calling twice and nothing else.
Extra arms from 2 mana to 3 mana (Original) I don't think this is going to effect combo priest much if at all. It can still be hard to keep minions below a certain threshold and with Healing circle DS and IF they can still burst you down easily from full health.
Agree. This doesn't do much against the deck and while now its harder to snowball Northshire Cleric, or tempo with Wild Pyromancer, it still has a lot of tools to dominate early game.
Barnes from 4 to 5 mana People are still going to complain about big priest. No real change here.
This was very much unneeded and the deck doesn't lose that much tempo with one turn delay.
Its not like Priest cant beat CW, but rather there is very little interest in developing the class further. Good luck, I think Priest has all the potential.
This deck has a lot of bad cards, such as and because of that, it lacks the value to compete in the endgame against control decks. I'd cut the Wispering Woods package altogether and run more two copies such as Swipe and Crystal Merchant.
Highlander cards may not work properly in this meta, considering its only 2 of them per deck in standard. A better deck would be full Choose One or full Lucentbark because otherwise Shuffle effects can screw you over big time in the value game.

Crafted the cyclones, disenchanted them a few days later, really really regretful..

Control Warrior being good in standard? In which rank bracket are you playing?

I was also in doubt but crafted him anyways and then, using this list cut one Topsy Turvy and one Extra Arms for two Potion Vendor, which makes Bwonsamdi, the Dead super good.

I think Highlander Hunter is dying because it lost good matchups after the nerfs and now it has trouble dealing with murloc decks and quest shaman.

Fully agree and also ¿why people think RNG = fun? I have more fun when I know what to play and what to expect.

I actually find easier than ever to hit Legend. Before, I was able to do it between 3 or 4 months and now I am able to do it every month.

The Mad Genius will still see play. Or are you suggesting there is a better card for the archetype to replace it?

The winrate is low because everyone is playing the wrong cards, such as Novice Engineer and Questing Explorer.
