the fact that you had to wait over 2 minutes per matchup tells me one thing: there was no one to queue you up with at your specific MMR because you kept conceding to the bots. Your MMR kept falling because on paper, you were consistently losing to an AI that was supposed to help you boost your MMR.
Sorry but to be honest with you they are not as difficult to deal with as you are describing. I’m in diamond and I don’t run removal spells - I run rush minions and I trade when I run into one. The only titan that I find legitimately difficult to clear out is Sargeras or Primus if he eats a large minion. They have been way less polarizing than hero cards or quests, which to me is a great change. If the biggest problem with the meta is a deck that uses secrets, no problem. we’ve had bigger problems to deal with
Wow I don’t have a single card from any of those sets and there’s no way I’m crafting anything expensive. If anyone finds a budget aggro deck for this month I’m on the lookout for one
"Hound isn't a problem, Gargon, that no one plays, is the problem."
Hunter cleave is not a problem, correct. No one plays Gargon *right now*, but if Hound is nerfed, don't be surprised if they do. Hunters have cleave for the 8 months at least. It's a skill-check for hunters' opponents: learn to play around it.
Or, QQ some more.
I’m willing to do a bet right now that even though hollow hound was nerfed to 3/4, it will still see more play than Gargon. The reason being that even though it has less health, it can get buffed to the point where it doesn’t matter. It will still hit once and heal you for 15+. Gargon cannot do that. you keep insinuating that cleave is the hot topic here but it’s not. If it was, all warriors would be running that one new mech that magnetized with cleave. But it’s so irrelevant that I forgot the name of the card.
Hot take: Hollow Hound will dodge the next nerf. The main reason for this is because it's also a Death Knight card, where the Hound is substantially more fair, and it doesn't make sense for the DK decks struggling to maintain relevance get nerfed for the sins of Hunter.
I've got a hotter take: hunter is fine. Yes, it's strong relative to the current meta -- I get frustrated when I lose to it, too -- but nothing it does seems unfair. Hound gets most of the complaints, and my guess is that it's the card that'll get nerfed, but hunter also has Gargon, which is 2 mana cheaper... so learn to play around cleave (yes, it can be done). As for the Krush finisher: that's turn 10, and gets stopped by a 2 mana taunt; compared to mage and shaman killing you over the top, from hand, on turn 7... that's very reasonable.
Hunter is fine. Hunter gameplay is what hearthstone should be. Buff the under-performing classes.
You’re missing the point of what makes Hollow Hound an issue in hunter. It can’t be compared to Gargon first of all - Gargon doesn’t have lifesteal for one, and it needs to be infused to gain cleave. But on top of that the main problem isn’t even that Hollow Hound has cleave, it’s that it regenerates massive amounts of health and can be copied, discovered, pulled out of nowhere, etc. That is where the issue lies because as far as I can remember, Hunter has never had access to that sheer amount of instant lifesteal before. The current hunter deck - which is topping every tier list by the way - places a ton of early pressure while also having a one card answer to recover almost all damage that the opponent inflicts. And that’s before King Krush even hits the board. If it wasn’t overtuned it wouldn’t be the most successful deck in the game.
There appears to be a huge level of misinterpretation regarding the value of data aggregators like HSReplay. It’s true that most players don’t use deck trackers at all, myself included most of the time as I play on mobile, but as you climb ranked ladder you’ll notice a pattern over and over - an abundance of players directly copying a tier 1 list from a netdeck, from Hearthpwn or any other source. This happens not just in diamond but all the way down to bronze - the only difference is that the bronze players are not playing the decks well. There are also obviously a decent amount of fringe homebrew decks, but to insinuate that their winrates are relevant to the meta as a whole disregards one key factor: if they were outstandingly well performing decks, people would notice and begin to copy the list to achieve more wins. That is how a deck goes from one player’s recipe to a contender in the meta. There is no point in balancing cards to put archetypes in line that are basically unknown to a majority of players.
However, I would agree that balancing cards in favor of the high Legend meta, which is unreachable to 99% of players, is flawed. There have been plenty of examples of high-APM difficult to pilot decks that can’t even be played properly on mobile, especially by a bronze or silver player. The ranks that set the trends are platinum, diamond, and legend. That has proven to be true time and time again.
This is so funny. Why wouldn’t a high priority target get removed? I can’t remember the last time a problematic minion like a Titan stayed on board for 3 turns plus on a consistent basis. They’ll either concede or get rid of the threat - that’s how the game works

The effect is great but River Crocolisk stats isn’t premium. It’ll get played later in the game normally so the body is pretty useless

Memo do you know the total amount of downvotes you’ve racked up on this website so far? Just wondering

Don’t give memo the time of day like this, he’s our unfriendly neighborhood troll

Show me an infinite Malorne deck list and its winrate

Just craft the cards you actually want. This doesn’t seem worth buying more than 10 packs of for the guaranteed legendary unless I’m missing something
