I have a "Corrupted Dragons Priest" that I run with N'Zoth, the Corruptor. This is more straight-forward. I'm torn about the Crusher swap. I think you get more value against aggro with Scaled Nightmare. With control decks, you've often won or lost the game before your opponent gets below 15 health. So it's a 6/6 for 6.
Been playing this deck exclusively since the 4th wing release yesterday. Maybe 50-55% win rate. But I love dragons and it's a fun deck that not a lot of other people are playing. May swap 1 Holy Nova for a second Excavated Evil.
Been having a lot of fun with straight-up Dragon Priest again (after spending a LOT of time with Dragon/N'Zoth). Been looking at the wing 5 cards and I think they will work into the deck well. This is what I came up with:
With 10-11 dragons, you should rarely (if ever) be hard up for one. 3 of the 5 card draws are discover/steal - so less consistent than Northshire Cleric, but maybe more fun?
Disappointed that Blizzard did not nerf Divine Favor. This is a card that rewards mindless board-flooding while simultaneously punishing slow, thoughtful decks.
Cards will need to be flexible to find a spot in a 30-card deck. Light's Champion doesn't see much play, does it? I think "Destroy an Epic Minion" is a pretty good fix for BGH, although it's counter to the "BIG GAME" title a bit. They could even just make it destroy a minion with 8 or more attack and that would open up a lot of cards.
We need hard removal in this game or it will just be "whoever plops down the big baddie first, wins"
I do feel badly when I queue up against a freeze mage with my tank-up warrior. There is basically no way for him to win. But all other classes/archetypes have a decent shot of beating control warrior. And I view the new control priest as an (almost) guaranteed loss against my warrior.

Currently running a Cabal Shadow Priest instead of the Book Wyrm and a Northshire Cleric instead of the Netherspite Historian, because the new cards don't come out until Thursday. I like the deck a lot. Not top tier, but it's competitive. And I like dragons. :)

Depending on the meta, you can swap 1 Book Wyrm for an Entomb and play around with the Holy Nova/Excavated Evil config.

Thoughts?

Most fun in a brawl ever.

Divine Favor is broken.

Why don't we have more of these minions? I think it would really help cut back on the smorc.

Of course, I hope your post is satire. But in case it's not: maybe play a deck that takes half a brain to pilot.

Sinister Strike, even cast 10 times, would always hit the enemy hero. Even Yogg is limited by card text.

Won't see competitive play. Great for fun decks - will not be in a single try-hard deck.

Just noticed that. WTF is this card?

Should have charge for that cost.

Craft the cards now that make the game fun (for you) now. Worry about the future in the future.
