I played it when it first came out. The deck is overpowered, and not very fun tbh. If a bot could get to legend with it, how fun an interactive could the deck be?
Secret pally, druid, freeze mage are all cancer tier. What are you trying to prove, that they aren't? Many people hate them because they offer little to interaction and many of the games are one sided. Nice blog post btw.
Tbh I dont think 10 dollars for a permanent skin is that bad. Compared to a lot of f2p games, its appropriately priced imo. Its not ridiculous, nor is it too cheap.
I bought Alleria, was a little dissapointed in the end, but I am looking forward to more heroes in the future if they are good!
Seems slower and inconsistent than nev's list because of the lack of card draw compared to his. 70% means nothing without total number of games and ranks they were played at.
If this is about least favorite to play, it would probably be priest or shaman. They never put on the pressure, always the fighting fighting against it (except maybe face shaman.)
As someone who reaches legend fairly regularly , I do think think the challenge to get there is still difficult. Every month poses some sort of change in the meta, you wont see the same decks month after month. Yea yea there are secret paladins, but even those decks get tweaked in some aspect to fit the meta monthly. I remember when secret pally first came out Divine favor was a staple of that deck, but decks are subbing that out more so nowdays for something else. Just one example.
Is getting Legend the be all end all achievement? Nah, but it is something nice to shoot for and gaining ranks in Legend for someone that isn't quite near perfect is a nice challenge every month. Sort of like seeing what your personal best can be. For me thats whats keeping me going atm in this game. Though I have no idea how long that feeling will last. I do agree there should be other barometers for feeling acomplished in this game other than gain ranks, like others have mentioned perhaps a tourney system.
For people who haven't reached legend, it is an amazing feeling and feat. Hell there are posts on here and reddit every couple of days that go "I have been playing since beta and my best rank is rank xx."
I know in china Hearthstone there are like ~30k legend players each month, so yea Legend is the be all end all achievement, but it still is an accomplishment! You are the 1% and arguably best players of that month, feel good man.

Probably for practice or quest as others have mentioned.
I personally use it for practice for decks I am not comfortable with for ranked.
