    What are some fast lethals possible in HS?  I remember shaman had fast lethals with whirling zapomatic back in the day.

    That said just got a turn 3 lethal vs pirate warrior (feelsgoodman,) this may perhaps be the perfect draw for rogue to t3 lethal come this expansion.

    Shaman has the upperhand in this matchup - due to the best 1/2 mana aggro minions in the game, coupled with the pirate synergy. Huge factor is also maelstorm because it clears all the small early game tokens.

    Jade druid, at least pirate warrior games are done in-2-3 minutes. I had a jade druid draw 25/30 cards by my turn 8 on his turn 10+.Limited draws from auctioneer, but just taunting and playing the nourishes he got from raven idols. feelsbadman.

    While early days of druid may not be tier 1 just due to decks being unrefined - as every expansion moves on month to month - druid will always rise to tier 1 no matter how bad their cards are (and their cards are pretty damn good this expansion) due to one fact: innervate. Ive said time and time again, as long as innervate is a damn card in this game druid will ALWAYS be tier 1.

    Howdy marshmellow,

    Thanks for the congrats.  I like nzoth over yogg because I know what I am getting 100% of the time. Furthermore, I have played against a fair number of control warriors (specifically the yogg variant) on ladder, and this deck decimates the yogg decks in sheer value. It is often a free win in that matchup/

    Nzoth also promotes playing minions in place of low quality spells or minions like Harrison which may not get use in every matchup. With Nzoth you are constantly placing threats midgame that help control the board. Many claim mid range hunter to be a lopsided matchup vs control warrior, and while it is indeed a hard matchup, as you can see by my stats alone the matchups were about break even. I believe the nzoth shell promotes heavier emphasis on board control, which means you can fight back against the minion tempo based meta atm, being able to bring them all back for yet another chillmaw board clear is invaluable, something that Yogg may not be able to do.

    Along with this, barnes helps accelerates this deck in the early/midgame by giving you the board presence you may need.  Cheers!

    Hi svenlanges,

    Chillmaw is an essential piece of this deck as it is a 3 damage aoe sweeper, it can clear any totems or spirit wolves and put valiant/thing from below from a slam or a bash away! I would recomend not taking him out, but if you do so, perhaps an abomination or infested tauren can replace it - both of which I heavily do not recommend.

    Baron gedon is just another tool in this deck to help clear the board.

    I understand the synergy of N'Zoth with Barnes, but have you try Ragnaros as a plan b removal and with synergy with Barnes too?

    Because sometimes things like Hex rekt your N'Zoth so sadly bad.

     Hi, thanks for checking out my list. That said, removal like ooze or Harrison is nice, but many shamans are running 2xspirit claws nowdays instead of doomhammer, so weapon removal has lost some of its value. Destroying a 1 mana weapon isn't usually the best choice, when there could be better cards in its place.
    Ragnaros is a nice minion, but it lacks a large aoe removal sweep like Gedon or Chillmaw.
    Yes, I agree hex definitely hurts, but we have mana hex targets in this deck, when one thing gets hexd, then your sylvanas, or cairne, or even ysera can just live for ages on the board giving you the board presence you need.

    For awhile now druid has been in its corner playing silently, hoping no one notices how unbalanced their ramp is.  The attention was on the shamans with their powerful cards, then it was the warriors - but in the background, druid was always tier one, but no one complained because those two other classes were way too problematic to the hearthstone community to even mention druid. With the release of the new giants - druid will not only remain a tier one deck as it has been the past couple months - it is my prediction from what I have played against it will now take an overwhelming commanding lead because of the heavily discounted giants that were just released in the  last wing. Being able to cheat mana constantly - fishing out threats and answers with ramp and innervate while being able to play nearly free 8-8's, is going to pose a huge problem, and sadly there is no solution. If there was no solution to their ramp in the past couple months considering it has been a silent tier 1 deck in the background - there will surely not be one now.

    Its funny how we are back to this stage again, I thought the days of druid reigning supreme and cancering their way in every game would have stopped after the nerfs to their combo, but here we are, druid is once again at the top.   If you haven't played against the giant deck that is soon to be terrorizing ladder like it does in high level play at the moment, you will see it soon enough.  I made a thread a long time ago when combo druid was a problem and people scoffed at the idea saying it was a perfectly fine and balanced deck, and just like then, history will repeat itself, there will be people saying the class and deck is balanced; when in actuality it won't be.

    Innervate, wild growth, and mire keeper are just way too strong in the meta right now. Nearly every deck is tempo based in the current meta, being able to play ahead of the curve constantly and finding answers to board solutions while  cheating their mana and falling back on Yogg to clear the board is game breaking. Back then one may have argued, "but Druid has no great removal." That is no longer the case, between roots, swipe, mulch, and wrath, that is more than enough removal for a class - especially when it is the one laying down threat after threat that your opponent has to answer because they are the ones playing from behind - not the druid. This is not to mention the spell removals they find from raven idol. With countless removals, minion threats, the deck now contains mana discounted giants that can be plopped down for free while they are still laying down other threats, as if answering their minions wasn't already an issue in it of itself. 

    I am equally disgusted as I am disheartened to see druid reigning supreme yet again in this expansion and new adventure. We have a long road ahead till the next game defining card set is released - till then, expect to grow tired of druid or either play the class yourself - the choice is rather simple.  Druid is here to stay.

    There is definitely a lot more I would like to say on the topic - but I want to hear your thoughts around the class. Why should this class with the commanding tier 1 deck not be scrutinized like shamans or warrior have been the past couple months?

    Since expansion release nearly 50% of my games have all been against shaman, and I know you probably share the same sentiments if you arent playing shaman yourself.  It was no surprise that they were going to be the strongest on paper going in to release, but now it is clear they are borderline if not insanely overpowered. From the best one drop in the game to huge tempo swings with free 5/5 taunt, to tuskar totemic summoning bullshit every game, and even having the best weapon in the game. Its time to unite and stop this madness.

    Prior the release, it was said Secret paladin was the strongest deck in the game, and for many months it went unanswered among the community, but in the later months it was toppled and many of its weaknesses started to show (hence the rise of zoo again.) I believe the same can be said about Shaman, we can exploit its weaknesses if there are any.

    What are some good tips, decks and classes that are good at curbing out this nonsense. I am at a loss at the moment because I have tried everything and am now looking for the community for some help!
