Sure man, but we didn't had an expansion called Knights of the Cone for a reason. Funny/cute stuff should be only for merchandising and stuff...
Jokes should remain jokes, and when the real deal takes place, most people like the real thing, which doest not apply to a gnome chewing some fruit on back of a Bog Creeped.
No matter what they say, Hearthstone will always be tied up to Warcraft.
And by the way, we had one joke hero already, and that is more than enough, if you ask me.
Uther of the Ebon Blade is an amazing card which its only fault is that it does not have a strong archetype to support it. It adds a new hero power that does not change the mechanic of the deck, and a weapon which is strong by itself. At the moment, Control Paladin is suboptimal compared to Murloc Paladin and other aggro variants, but once they give Paladin more tools outside the murloc package, Uther will certainly his time to shine.
Deathstalker Rexxar has much the same problem, it's a strong card without a powerful archetype to build around, and even so, Rexxar has pretty much infinite value, dropping threat after threat and sometimes that is enough to secure a win. It's up to Blizzard if he will fail in time or will be a blast.
Valeera the Hollow has an amazing design, but its way overcosted to represent a threat. I know that would break the game to have it at 6 mana, but 9 is too much, and the only archetype that I can see a spot for her is Miracle, which does not have the high burst potential as once had, of self healing to keep up with aggro. She needs a complete set intended to back up Miracle to be more than a tier 2 at best.
I would wait and see if they still work:
Frost Lich Jaina is very fun to play, but whenever Mage was top tier, was with archetypes far from what Jaina gives.
Scourgelord Garrosh has an amazing weapon which supports control, maybe he shows value in future sets.
Has potential, but can be replaced:
Malfurion the Pestilent good right now, but Jade is loosing ground to other decks and Druids are going back to aggro. If that remains, Malfurion certainly will see a decrease in play, beeing present only in Control/Ramp decks, and only if these archetypes get some love in the future.
Thrall, Deathseer has its power in the numbers, and while he has some good token generation now, he will loose Evolve and Doppelgangster, which might be enough to bury Evolve Shaman in Standard.
Will go out in a blaze of glory:
Shadowreaper Anduin is an amazing card, in an amazing archetype. Sadly when Raza the Chained rotates out, he will only be used as mass removal, and that might not be enough. But since Anduin is the hero we need, but not the one we deserve, he will forever see play in Wild and only that possibility made me rethink the value of Wild Mode to the game.
Is one step away from beeing a meta tyrant:
Bloodreaver Gul'dan is amazing, but I will think forever that he should cost 8 mana. That beeing said, he needs only a good demon to jump from playable to meta crusher. And I'm really looking foward to that. I mourned the nerf of the old Handlock, and would love to see a strong control archetype coming back to Warlock. And I must add that I hate what Team 5 does to Warcraft lore. Mal'ganis would be a perfect addition to KFT, matching perfectly the Northrend theme, but they screwed up tossing him in a loreless expansion he had nothing to do. Another card ahead of its time. But Wild is here to stay, and I'll definitely rock a Highlander Warlock with Kruul, Mal'ganis, and Gul'dan as crowned king.
I was expecting Kanrethad Ebonlocke but we'll get a joke as replacement.
Only if Team 5 check out the lore characters once in a while instead of just ignoring it. I know, I know, they want freedom to create. But they could just tap from it from time to time to give us pieces of some of the richest game contents out there.
Now I know that instead of Hamuul Runetotem for Druid we'll get Clunky Funkylog, a young troll druid which can only transform into puppies, cause you know, Team 5 is all about cute and really wants to stick with the "children's card game" theme.

I called this card BS without even looking at it.
Wasn't wrong in doing so.

I'm hoping it's Deadmine since I saw the coins...
I'm sick of pirates/goblins already.

Imp Gang Boss doesn't have anti sinergy with Bloodreaver Gul'dan?
A better option would be Voidcaller, in my opinion.

BaiZe is bae.

You put Ner'zhul which was basically a shaman but forget Kanrethad Ebonlock?

That's not the point.
The point is this specific gnome wasn't even a warlock to start with, and there are infinitely better options in the lore to fulfill the spot.
And if you want to talk about WoW, I can name Kanrethad Ebonlocke, or Jubekka Shadowbreaker as better options, just to begin...

Lame.

I just don't get how people blame on Pirate Warrior and Reno decks in the same post.
Are you f****** kidding me?

They shouldfix Freeze Shaman the same way Discard Warlock...
By shutting down any future implementations of this mechanics.
Seriously, there is someone who thinks Moorabi could be viable in any way?
It's easier to see some kind of clunky Professor Putricide seeing the light of day than that.

Saboteur would only prevent an OTK, while Mindbreaker can do that AND could possibly gain back the tempo needed to close the game.
