But Raza is good, it's played in pretty much every Reno Priest deck.

Now Raza is being nerefed the Hero power was costed 0 Mana nerfed to 1 mana instead .

Raza Was a total garbage Legendary for more than a Year before Shadow reaper Anduin was Created and new archetype was born ( Highlander priest ) Which is  in my Opinion the Most OP Archtype of All  time .

absolutely untrue. raza was always the best of the kabal legendaries, its just priest as a class didn't support the highlander archetype as well as warlock and mage even with the best of the 3 legendaries to play with.

2 epics (2nd copies of Ectomancy and Loose Specimen), 6 rare (1 golden Dyn-o-matic), and 22 common (1 golden Bomb Toss (2nd golden copy)). not the best, but not the worst. wasn't expecting anything since my last pack before these had a legendary.

posted a message on New playable hero. What will be?

not a fan of the newer hero cards. replacing the hero with them doesn't make sense thematically like with jaraxxus or rag or the deathknights. and now they're even doing away with the notion that they're making them hero cards because they're the big, important, "central" character of the expansion which was the ill-reasoned fig leaf they gave themselves for hagatha and dr. boom, if this hero is just going to be 1 of 9 random combatants.

that said, if that's the worst criticism i have of this expansion, it'll be a major improvement over BDP

i literally could not disagree any more. i had less than ZERO hype for boomsday, and the trailer for boomsday was the worst ever. this looks INFINITELY better and the trailer may be the best one yet for hearthstone (at the very least it holds its own with the top ones from the past)

posted a message on Quality of life changes you'd like to see

since the beginning of the game, the biggest thing i've wanted is the ability to put more than 30 cards in a deck while deck-building. the deck would not be playable until pared down to 30, just as when it contains less than 30, but it is absolutely maddening and mind-boggling that this functionality didn't exist AT LAUNCH, much less FOUR YEARS LATER. i should be able to inlcude as many potential inclusions as i like, and then cut down while looking at them in a list of all the possibilities rather than having to flip through hundreds of pages of collection displayed 8 - or as few as FOUR if everything on a page also has golden counterpart - cards at a time (and that brings up a second long-overdue QoL change - collection manager display to show more cards, at the VERY LEAST integrating golden and non-golden into one facing so that the MINIMUM number of cards you see at once is 8) to consider final cuts/additions. i honestly feel that a large percentage of the player base would get more into deckbuilding (and we might even see a bit of a decrease in netdecking!) if the interface wasn't so cumbersome and dissuading of considering multiple options.

This is done....after GI nerf the impact of this expansion goes to zero...no new deck came up from it

well, there are mechathun decks which are more fun than i thought they would be, but i don't think are particularly good for the game design-wise. and APM priest, which is likewise pretty fun. and control warrior made a bit of a comeback, though Baku the Mooneater is really responsible for that more than the tools from BDP. but yeah.

posted a message on Has been Boomdays project one of the most disappointing expansion in HS???

everything about BDP was a disappointment IMO. the theme, the cards, the puzzles (with very few exceptions they are much too simple and lack any replayability), the god-awful trailer song...

right now i'm missing as many cards from BDP as i am from TGT (33; was at 34 before i pulled my 1st copy of Augmented Elekk from the free dual arena run). but i also spent no money during TGT, while i bought the $80 pre-order for BDP. i barely play now, while i had enough fun playing during TGT that I made enough gold to buy roughly the same number of packs. i've also only crafted 2 cards, 1 legendary and 1 epic, from BDP, despite having another abysmal pack opening wrt legendary pull-rate (another major disappointing development, though by this point hardly a surprising one...). i'll certainly craft a few more eventually to make that number lower, but the fact remains that the low set completion and play time say all that need to be said. i've been playing less over the last year and having less fun with the game anyway, but BDP is a definite low. i've enjoyed the other sets (even witchwood and kobolds, which underwhelmed me with the card reveals, although i did at least like the theme, especially with kobolds) even when i didn't particularly care for the metas. but BDP has strikingly little to recommend it. i basically only log in enough to complete a quest if my log is full, play the brawl for the pack, and maintain rank 5.

posted a message on Umbra needed for cube warlock?

Umbra's really only necessary if you want to play a very combo-oriented version of the deck. I ran her in my version when I played a good deal of cubelock, but it's been a while and I feel like she's less standard nowadays (and even back then there were probably nearly as many lists that didn't run her as did in my experience)

posted a message on Saving for the next expansion

i've been saving for a few weeks (but haven't really been playing a ton recently), have around 2400 gold. still missing 34 total cards from boomsday: 12 legendaries and 20 epics (4 doubles and 12 singles) and 2 rares (!!); which is a good bit more than recent sets (missing between 15 and 22 cards from all other current standard expansions), but eh... have over 20k dust as well

posted a message on Is as problematic Giggling inventor as a 5 mana spreading plague???
    Quote from EmoGit >>

Giggling is perfectly statted, 1 mana 2/1 body summoning two 2 mana 1/2 divine shield taunts. Now if my maths is correct, that comes up to 5 mana. It's just a good 5 drop, that's why people are playing it, not because it's broken. It's a problem in quest rogue because quest rogue is a problem.

Yeah its perfectly statted for THREE cards. In one card, it's insanely statted. But this is mainly, like so many things in hearthstone, a problem caused by the inherent weakness in the game's mana system and it's lack of granularity
