Hello Guys,

When I opened HS today, I got a granted pack. I don't think it was from the Choose your champion, because I bet Ukraine win. I read earlier, that people got a granted pack who didn't open a legendary in their first 10 packs, but I opened one on my 10th.

Can somebody explain why I got that pack?

 How is 20 cards an advantage if you weren't going to go to fatigue anyway? Which most decks don't do at the moment.

For example, I can easily run out of cards with my Miracle Rogue at turn 10-14. And the stolen 2 eviscerates and maybe on Edwin + Lyra combo against me would be a pretty bad experience I think.

I hope this is a really bad joke. Stealing some cards is ok, but the whole deck?! At best, my opponent will have a 20 cards advantage against me, and he can kill me with my own created deck, with a good draw. 
It's not fair, I'm so disappointed...

yeah alex is better as a card because longevity, and n'zoth is not great in rogue, not bad, really just mediocre. alex is generally only seen n mage decks, but more important for mage are ice block, primordial glyph, and most likely a single pyroblast. If you are missing those go for those first, and if you don't have blood mage thalnos it is more useful than alex and probably a better craft. I know I went outside of your request but I see a lot of people ignoring options other than legendaries with their dust, but epics are arguably more important. I have fewer epic than legendaries because I dust the bad ones, and epics are more commonly necessary for many decks than legends, as well as being less common to get 2 of the one you want than one of a legendary you want.

If you really only need a little extra stuff and will craft one legend alex is better but I doubt alex is the best craft for anyone, I never regretted my alex craft but I made it back when warrior ran alex as well as freeze mage, both of which I wanted to play.

I totally agree with you! I already have a single pyroblast, primordial glyph ice block and thalnos too. I will craft a second ice block with cabalist's tome. My mage deck would be pretty strong with Alex.

I have reduced my pack purchasing because of the price increase, so Alex should be the optimal choice as you recommended.

Currently I'm playing only standard, but later maybe I will go wild

It's another crafting topic, I know, I know...

First of all my favorite classes are Mage, Warlock andRogue.
I currently have 3200 dust and I would like to craft Alexstrasza or N'Zoth, the Corruptor. I don't want both of them, because I am missing some important epic cards like Cabalist's Tome, Twisting Nether, Vilespine Slayer and a 2nd copy of Ice Block. 

Alexstrasza : I really like playing Mage decks (without quest) and I almost have all the must have cards to build a decent deck, but I don't think she is viable in other decks.
N'Zoth, the Corruptor: I was so lucky when I opened all the Rogue standard legendaries (expect the quest, but I don't want to play it in the future), so N'zoth should be a boost for my ranked play, am I right?

So guys, it's a hard dilemma for me, I would really appreciate your help!

Wait and see till the standard meta settles but I guess quest rogue for standard and maybe even time warp otk with archmage? Or even nzoth rogue in wild. Wild is literally wild so decks are really varied. Standard seems to be strong with a few quests and face deck. (Like hunter)

 

You are right. N'Zoth, the Corruptor could be a good choice, and also the mage quest. Hard decision...

I am asking for your help. When Un'Goro hit, I got some dust, so now I have 4k. As a matter of fact, I want to craft some legendaries, or the most important common, rare and epic cards. I will be a f2p player from now, because of the price increase of the packs, so I would like to use my dust wisely.

I usually play Warlock, Mage, Beast Druid, Hunter, Rogue and sometimes Shaman. I will play both formats, so crafting wild cards is not a problem.

Owned legendaries for the classes mentioned above: The Marsh Queen, Archmage Antonidas, Shaku, the Collector, Xaril, Poisoned Mind

Owned important neutral legendaries: Bloodmage Thalnos, Malygos, Deathwing, Ragnaros the Firelord

Other missing useful legendaries (in my opinion): Alexstrasza, Sylvanas Windrunner, Leeroy Jenkins, Lord Jaraxxus,Kazakus

My Rogue collection is pretty decent, I thought I should craft Edwin VanCleef, but there are some missing essential cards (no owned copies) like Nourish, Counterspell, Cabalist's Tome, Twisting Nether, and some of rares and commons etc. I have no any cards from GvG, and only have a few from TGT (but it's not a big problem I think).

Can you help me what can I do? Should I craft two legendaries, or craft one, and craft the most important commons/rares from the Classic, Un'Goro and GvG set?

I think none of them. It's a deathrattle minion, so the secret you get will be activated after it's death and will be revealed later (when your opponent kills a minion / one of your minions die).

I think I will pay only for Karazhan. I collect golds by doing quests and 4-6 months later I will have enough to buy the new adventure and some packs of the new expansions, etc. 

Ok, so I will purchase only adventures in the future and buy packs only with golds. That's the right way to save money and not to be homeless in the near future. :D

You should quit now before it's too late. Spending money into HS (over €2000) was the worst thing I ever did. It's not worth it, you could play so many other (and better) games with that time and money.

if I didn't change your mind (we would need to sit down so I could talk you out of it), at least do not buy anything else than adventures. The gold/cards ratio is far more advantageous if you do so.

I 've just started to play Hearthstone again for a month and I need some help. Actually I have 800 gold and I would like to buy something at he end of the month but I don't know what ( I calculated with 2000 gold for the end of January).  So I have ~120 missing classic cards right now and I purchased the first wing of The League of Explorers to get Reno. The problem is Reno will be rotated soon and I like to play only in standard format, because of my deficient card set. I' am about to spend ~ 20$ for this game.

Could you give me some advice on what should I buy right now with money and golds? Is it worth to buy Karazhan + some Classic/Gadgetzan packs (5-7 pcs) or should I buy Only Classic/Gadgetzan packs (15-30 pcs)? I am at rank 19 and I can't get higher, because a lot of legendary minions are missing.
