Vlps made a dragon nzoth list   http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/652735-dragon-renolock . This guy was the renolock master before standard.

Agreed, it basically summons a reckless rocketeer, an evil heckler, and a raid leader with +2 health.

Interesting deck, will try it out.  I will probably try to squeeze nzoth and brann in there though.

C'thun reno is certainly viable but I feel it would do better in standard where there isn't so much competition in between card slots. It's possible to fit  in those cards you mentioned but it doesn't seem better to me. Pingpingho and Akawonder both recently brought reno c'thun to tournaments if you'are looking for good lists.

N'zoth is a possible replacement for Jaraxxus.   Leeroy, power overwhelming, and faceless manipulator can be too.  If you go the Nzoth route you'll probably want even more death rattle minions than are listed here. Possibly add harvest golem and Cairne as minions that are resistant to clears and be brought back by N'zoth.

I think it is the best overall pick. It is about a 50/50 against secret paladin (could be stronger with more techs like bgh, ooze, eater of secrets) and very favored against the decks used to counter secret paladin like priest, patron, freeze mage. The only popular deck it is unfavored against is MR hunter.

Great questions, I'll try to answer them all in one post.

    • The reason I didn't include the Leeroy /P.O. / faceless combo was I believe the meta is too fast for it.  This combo is generally used to close out games against other slow decks but Jaraxxus does that in just one card so you'll generally have less dead cards in your hand in the early game.  The non-existence of combo druid and the decline in popularity also led me to favor jaraxxus over combo as the fear of being bursted down was much less than what it was when these decks were dominant.
    • I ran p.o. for a long time to trade up and make shadowflame better but eventually switched it to abusive because abusive is more versatile, doesn't require the minion you are buffing die at the end of the turn, and puts a 2/1 body on your side.  I've been very happy since swapping out p.o. but that is based on me playing in a faster meta. If ramp druid ever became dominant then I would probably favor p.o.
    • Same goes for mountain giant as leeroy combo, just to slow in the meta and often sits dead in your hand against aggro.  Despite being somewhat light on top end this deck is generally a free win against control decks so mountain giant isn't really necessary.

I considered putting bgh in but never really tried it out. It would certainly help against secret paladin  and dr. boom is still widespread so it might be worth experimenting with. If shamans and their 4 mana 7/7s started showing up I would put bgh in a heartbeat but as of now I've seen very few shamans (on NA, at least.)

Thank you for all the interest, I will get to work on a in depth guide very soon!
