Viability of any non-core card is always meta dependent, I have no way of knowing what meta you are facing so a little hard for me to suggest exactly what you should or should not be playing. I found this list to be very successful in the mirror so I stayed with it for most of my climb but have since tried swapping cards here and there.
You can alway swap that card for another tech option but I don't think it would help significantly in a match up against a deck designed to counter cubelock. If you're facing enough priests where climbing becomes impossible I would suggest another deck.
Thanks for the feedback, can't wait to see what new and innovative deck you can come up with 3 months into an expansion cycle and what rank you can climb to with it. Not trying to be hurtful, but that's just the way hearthstone is.
You see the same decklists over and over again because thousands of games of testing show them to be the most consistent and powerful. There is always room for off-meta decks but they mostly exist to counter more popular decks and are pretty bad for climbing on their own.
I understand the list in itself is not that new but I think I understand the deck and match ups well and the guide was my contribution.
Definitely harder to replace. If you want something at a similar mana slot I would suggest twilight drake or mountain giant. If you want a card that adds value to the deck I would try elise or cairne.
Really glad you enjoyed it, I also believe the weapon makes the difference in a lot of slower games, even in faster when it lines up perfectly (ie turn 5 weapon summoning a voidlord)
Yea, definitely a lot of ways to take it. Did some experimentation with double faceless too. Sylvannas can definitely destroy the mirror match in big priest. Clearly a time of great testing for the actual best list, which can change match to match. I would suggest waiting for things to settle down a bit if you're on the fence about crafting anything.
Actually have been thinking about that a ton lately. Most people have labelled weapon as "too greedy" but playing this deck a lot in standard I can tell you weapon is one of the best cards to draw. Usually this deck fails when it doesnt have a way to cheat out demons by turn 5 or 6, so having another card that can do that should in theory help the deck. I've actually been experimenting with cutting nether for weapon and I think its a good move. Instead of having more oddball removal for the game that goes wrong, probably better to up the chance of carrying out the game plan of this deck, cheating out big stuff. The true strength of weapon over lackey or voidcaller is it gives you full mana to work with next turn.

Sure, try double tar creeper or stonehill instead of umbra and prince. I would need to know what cards you do have access to to replace n'zoth.

Well you posted it in here for some reason, and now you're telling me my guide is bad. If you have more specific questions I'd be happy to answer.

Maybe something like a mountain giant, twisting nether, or rin? None exactly replace what n'zoth does but can be finishers of sorts in longer games.

Can't really think of one, mal'ganis is too unique and powerful in what he does. Sorry :(.
