Made my submission (Teron Gorefiend), realized I misunderstood the topic. I though my the card should have synergy with the last card of your deck, not BE the last card. Oh well.
Banana Crawler is a simple, flavorful Hunter card. Spooky Banana fits with Warlock disruption, but might fit better on a minion instead of just a spell with no other effect. Totally Bananas should probably cost 2 or more. The empty hand is a big requirement, but you can get a LOT of power out of a hand full of bananas.
Here’s my initial idea. He eats all the Bananas, so running him with Mukla is a good idea. If you have two of them, the one that’s been on the battlefield the longest gets the bananas.
There’s gonna be a lot if invalid entries this week... too many people making spells or legendary minions.
the top voted entries on page 2 are spells and there's also a hero card with a bunch of upvotes. Pretty sure my Lazy Peon is going to get lost in the clutter.
Edit: It's way worse than I thought. I looked at current entries (68, posts 2-69) and by my unofficial judgement, 39 of 68 entries are valid, while the other 29 are breaking rules. Many rulebreakers are obvious: spells, legendary minions and hero cards. Other's are more subtle: minions based off of 1 time hero units, minions based on neutrals you can't recruit, minions that are based on unplayable factions from the campaigns, minions based on buildings that are only 1 offs or only part of the campaign mode.
I think this contest needed firmer rules from the get-go. I can't imagine you're actually going to disqualify people for making Pig Farm, Goldmine or Naga cards, but by the rules, they should be disqualified.
Two entries are kinda funny. Spellbreaker and Archmage. Both are already cards, with those exact names! The Spellbreaker isn't disqualifying by the rules... but it should kinda go without saying you can't reuse an existing card's name? Archmage is disqualified because you can't recruit multiple archmages, since it's a hero unit.
Yeah, I thought my Sunwell Sorceress entry was solid, but it got buried under a bunch of highly upvoted spells and legendaries. No matter what happens there’s gonna be a bunch of disappointed people because certain ones didn’t read the rules. But on top of that the ‘rule’ that it had to be a buildable unit or building from the main 4 races wasn’t exactly enforced.
Game play - A 1 mana Spell Damage minion would be a powerful card for many classes, so it has a significant detriment once it dies.
Lore - Two units in one! Sorceresses helped defend the Sunwell against the Scourge. When they failed, they were raised again as Banshees, powerful anti-magic casters.
Cheap combo activator, can be placed between minions to deny 'adjacent' spells and reveals enemy stealth (but does not cancel it). Thoughts?
Cool idea. But Stealth isn’t a commonly used keyword, and when it is used in constructed, it’s by Rogue. Imo this might be better as a neutral 1/1 Stealth so it isn’t a dead card in 99% of matchups.
Nice ideas, nice theme. I got 3 ideas so far. Pack Attack is my favorite. PS: Wolfrider
No spells, so you can’t use Pack Attack. Which is good because that spell is broken. Crypt Fiend killing a random minion is too strong for its cost. Compare it with Deadly Shot when you have no minions. Also intelligent zombie spiderpeople wouldn’t be Beasts. Troll Headhunter’s flavor is wierd but is probably the best balanced. But it doesn’t feel at all like an aggressive, regenerating minion like it does in WC3.
Got a new idea that also tells a story and represents two different WC3 units! The proud High Elven Sorcerous defending the Sunwell, killed and turned into a Banshee after losing everything. The Deathrattle synergy could make it more useful for Hunters, Priests, and Rogues.
edit: yes I realized I spelled her name wrong. It’s “sorceress”

My submission this week is a pot dealer.

@Demonxz95
Thanks for the feedback. I’m assuming if this card was added to the game, one or more Banana generators would be added as well.
Here’s a slightly better worded version, and a Grimy Goons themes submission for a pot dealer.

Didn’t we already have this prompt? Oh well.

My initial idea. Crypt Fiends summon little bugs that attack. This might be better balanced as a 3/5 or a 2/6.

Fel Stalker is a demon. It’s a cool idea, but flavor wise would better fit Warlock.
Kul Tiras Hydromancer is broken. 7 Mana board clear no matter what. Also idk if we can use ‘special’ units, though I’m sure we can.

Does our submission have to have the -exact- name as the unit / building from WC3?
Edit - I'm also having issues with that link.
