and i will end this druid thing by saying this. the guy who said druid needs a nerf was playing control warrior which is druids best matchup. you lost the game cause your game was so slow and innefective that the druid player collected all the combo pieces to finish you off and thats what happens most of the times in this matchup. now me as a druid player i lost to a control warrior which is my easiest matchup cause he drew 5 cards from acolytes of pain when i couldnt silence them or answer them effectively cause i had mostly the combo pieces on my hand. after he drew that much he had the answer for everything i played. if youre saying druid needs a nerf why dont your execute almost free mana cost hard removal gets nerfed too
You just described the problem perfectly. The fact that druid can just draw all their cards and automatically win the game is a massive issue--Miracle Rogue was nerfed for that exact reason. If you can't see why that's a problem, well, I can't help you.
Here because druid is badly in need of a nerf. Here I am, up by four cards against a druid towards the end of a game. I'm at 27 health, he's at 17. I have Alex on the board and a fiery war axe in hand, he has one boombot. All of a sudden, force of nature, savage roar, savage roar, I lose. I knew I was dead to that but I had no way to gain any more life or to clear the boombot. Nobody in their right mind can say that's fair. I dominate all game to lose to that fucking cheese. Here I am at almost full health, with an absolutely dominant board position (he'd already used his BGH so that wasn't a threat), but it just doesn't matter because this fucking combo is completely broken.
Wanted to wait and see whether or not some mechanic from BRM could make her playable, but I don't see one; other dragons seem much bigger and badder. What do y'all think?
Against Face Hunter or Mech Mage, this plus Shield Block/Shieldmaiden can win you plenty of games, whereas Whirldwind plus Shield Block/Shieldmaiden can't. The difference between 1 damage and potential 3 damage is huge, the difference between 1 mana and 2 mana is not really that significant. Whirlwind is played because it's clears 1/1 tokens and is a convenient Execute/Grom activator. Anything Whirlwind can do, this can do better.
This card definitely isn't just flat out better than WW. If you run this instead of WW, you can no longer Grom-WW-Execute for a kill.
MAYBE you would run one of them in face hunter. But I don't really see it as a great card, good for sure but not great.
I think that everyone mistakenly views this as a Face Hunter card. This card doesn't fit well there. However, it is exactly what Control Hunter needs to become competitive.

Except I wasn't playing vs. fast druid. He was ramp.

Druid right now is basically in a place where you lose if they have a single minion on the board towards the end of the game.

Exactly.

He didn't innervate. No need to innervate if you got Thaurissan down on combo pieces.

Forgot to say I don't have Neptulon heh.

If I'm running Al'Akir instead of Ragnaros, should I replace Neptulon with Ragnaros?

Harrison is used in many more decks, but if you basically only play Rogue and Shaman, Thalnos makes sense.

Yeah, but if you're below 12 health you just kill all of those things instead when you'd rather have the WW effect.

Trump's takes:
"Welcome to the worst card in Blackrock Mountain. I'm sorry Warriors."
"It only works out in Disney movies."
"It's a card that you really shouldn't pay any attention to."

It should read,
"Deal 1 damage to ALL minions. If you have no armor, deal 3 damage instead."
But then, the card would actually be good.
