location for death knights is still OP 1 extra mana changes nothing in my opinion
grey sage parrot all i can say is HALLEA F%#^ING LUUAH mage can no longer spam time warp except through vargoth wich is a gimp gimmick and rommath wich will include a whole slew of random BS itll be more consistant to beat time warp mage now
the gnoll nerf is good enough to keep it in line until rotation in my opinion
cataclysm is absolutely gutted and warlock mecha-thun with it but thank god no longer will you get hit in the face for 8 damage from fist of jaraxxus 25 from soul barrage
spectral theif is absolutely gutted now while it was damn near impossible to beat it was also pretty hard to pull off imo
closing thoughts these are healthy wild nerfs for damn sure alot of them were long overdue
Thats what prompted me to make this post i am a huge old guardian supporter and if someone who has invested as much time as him is struggling hows the rest of us faring
so for those unaware mythic boss rush has just dropped level 180 for the mode and even veteran pros like old guardian are struggling with beating some of the bosses and one of the biggest issues is the payout isn't worth the struggle. i have played mercenaries since the beginning old guardian has also been incredibly active in the game mode there are people who have dropped hundreds of thousands of renown into a single comp and the pay out for clearing it for the first time is 200 renown?? if that
let me put this into perspective for you all I had over 80k renown when the conversion dropped before i realized celestials were the way to go i did a buff boggy comp with nemsy.my bogonomics ability is at rank 34 and costs 1050 renown to level up when all of the other mercenaries abilities get that high your gonna have to clear mythic boss rush level 180+ repeatedly for a SINGLE upgrade
don't get me wrong i love the idea behind mythic boss rush its so much fun but you are basically banned from experimenting and if your a new player well fuck you you don't get to play because at the lowest levels you get like 3 renown wich keep in mind equipment and treasures take 10 per to upgrade at the lowest level abilities take 25
blizzard needs to up the amount of renown players can earn because there are ppl who have sunk hundreds of thousands of renown that aren't going to be able to keep up with the game mode and if blizz expects to people to pay for a game mode that's already dying they're delusional they need to fix this to keep what small semblance of relevance the game mode has because no one is gonna pay money for mercenaries at this point just let us have our fun that's all we want at the end
not to mention there are mercenaries like chi-ji and yu lon whos blazing band and jadefire spear just outright DOESNT work period in the game mode
ok but what about the celestial mercenaries abilities not scaling like they should be yulon and chi ji both don't get benefits from their equipment in mythic boss rush

miracle rogue is basically left unchecked the ghosts dont have stealth anymore...ok?? that doesnt fix anything when you have a 10/10 to kill on turn 4 with your cute 3/3s and 3/4
quest demon hunter possibly gutted like a pig
shockspitter pretty much dead and WILL BE dead once brann rotates out of core set
astalor is still going to exist in every druid and rogue deck ever because Guff didnt get nerfed wich means mana cost means nothing to druid and rogues can still discount with shadowstep yeah its only doing 14 damage on turn 10 but do either of those classes care when they have excessive mana discount or 20 mana
nellie will give pirate warrior a slight breathe in standard but thats all it is
i would love to see dragon pally flourish as dragon decks are what got me into hearthstone in the first place
last stand i feel they made even worse now with the manathirst on it
the battlefield commander and bonefield necromancer buff is gonna change the value of those cards in a big way and for the better espically commander in late game
what does warrior have going for it besides pirate right now in all honesty its either pirate or enrage warrior no other warrior deck has even an inkling of a chance in this meta
im looking at this deeply and yeah i have to agree miracle rogue has basically gone unnerfed so the ghosts dont have stealth anymore how ya killing a 10/10 on turn 4

i think the tavern brawl half and half is to blame for that when UH DK would give you a bunch of corpse cards you cant use
