I don't think Bloodbloom is that big of a deal, but Barnes should be nerfed. 6 mana barnes would be acceptable, still playable but not too oppressing.

20 for 20 packs and a hero skin is a great deal! I think the emotes were expected to be only "Hello" anyway and they actually fit the character so I don't understand the hate...if you don't like it or you are too broke to pay 20 bucks for a game you obviously care enough to participate in a forum about, just shut up and don't be salty.

posted a message on Upcoming Hearthstone Balance Changes - Giggling Inventor, Mana Wyrm, Aviana

The nerfs seem quite fair. In my opinion Mana Wyrm will still see play but it won't be that snowball-y at the beggining of the game, which is good, the Aviana-Kun combo has been going on for ages so I like the nerf, it feels like for the first time Blizzard nerfed the problematic card and not a new good (but not the problem) card and Giggling Inventor...well, the nerf was kinda needed! 7 mana is too much for the stats for sure and now we have no (neutral) protection from aggro decks but I can understand the argument that it would make even decks even better if the cost was changed to 6 so I guess making it unplayable was the only way. All in all I like the fact that only 3 cards were changed and the nerfs seem fair. For the ones complaining about druids... learn to play and use tech cards in your favor, spreading plague can be played around or destroyed with Mossy Horror (or many class spells) and Malfurion is far less oppressive than Gul' Dan and Jaina so stop whinning!

UI should have been nerfed 2 expansions ago so we shouldn't expect it to be nerfed now, it's too late! :p Spreading plague is ok in my opinion, the cost is fair, you can play around it and you also have counterplays like Mossy Horror and many spells in most classes. The DK is also fine, Gul' dan is a lot more oppressive and Jaina can turn around the whole game as well, so i think asking for a nerf to Malfurion is unfair!

Thanks for your responses! Well I guess I am a little prejudiced :p I will accept and add more people from now on, you are right, not everyone is toxic :)

I really like the nerfs this time. Everything is less oppressive, but still playable! In my opinion Gul'dan should get nerfed too though, he brings back a wall of taunts that you already broke once or 20-25 damage(doomguards) and it seems unfair to me. It would be more balanced if he brought back one of every demon played and not  6 same demons that could OTK you or never let you hit you opponent's "face".

So close yet so far! I guess that's even more annoying. I hope we get the same/similar promotions everywhere at some point, there is no reason not to.

after each new set it just becomes more and more apparent that there HAS TO be a public test realm for hearthstone

but there probably never will be...

I agree with you, there should be a PTR although it would be extremely hard to do. However what impresses me now that there is no PTR for Hearthstone is how cards like Ultimate Infestation and Corridor Creeper make it to the set...people who work for Hearthstone are supposed to know about card games and understand what the potential of a card is so why do we need so many nerfs? Shouldn't they know how everything works before the release of a set and balance things on time?
I don't think that they will introduce a PTR because they don't want the meta to be figured out once the actual release goes live. Atm we have about 1-2 weeks of experimentation until the competitive meta decks start taking over. That would probably be sped up by having a PTR.
I agree though, that the strength of cards like Corridor Creeper can not be suprising after sincere playtesting. Therefore I assume that they are aware but keep underestimating the preceived strength of a card compared to the strength they can see from their data.
They probably won't introduce a PTR for the reasons you said plus if people know how everything works they may not buy packs so the company loses money. However I think they should have a team of good deckbuilders/players test the expansion and how the cards work together with older sets in order to release a well balanced set in the end. I am glad they nerf things, but I would be happier if we got a balanced set from the beginning.
